“What do you mean, Baby? Do you regret Papa’s decision earlier?”
“I don’t regret it...” Joye weakly shook her head, lowering her gaze to her own fingers. “It’s just... we’re only eighteen, Daven. We’ve only just stepped into college life, enjoying the freedom of our youth... and now, overnight, our lives are immediately being steered toward the altar. I... I’m not ready to get married so young.”
