Taming The CEO's Heart

Playing the tune, she looks at nanny Ester requesting her to sing with them. “Everyone.” Nanny Ester then calls out, where the mansions servant immediately heeded and is asked to sing the song together with the twins. With Monique and Cole now sitting on the opposite side beside her, everyone gathers and sings. “The itsy-bitsy spider went up the giant spout! Down came the rain and wash the spider out. Out came the sun and dried up all the rain, so! The itsy-bitsy spider went up to climb again.”

This book is highly educative. For someone like me who studies cross-cultural communication, I find it quite important. I'm learning a lot concerning the culture of the Luo tribe of Kenya and how they responded to the western culture, religious conflict and quite a lot to do with relationship. ?

A book to pick from the shelf. Felt i was reliving times here, those wonderful moments in the history of a people. The Blue-eyed's intention with the bell and the tree's inexplicable powers are itchy... felt like I just wanted to know it all. This is a five-star novel, can't hesitate to say. ???

"You will be singing Masterpiece by Jessie J." My eyes widened because of it, that was my favorite song and I really know how to sang that well. "Here is your copy Jane, and this one is for you Katie." Mommy Sha said and give us the piece of papers. "So much pressure, why so loud. If you don't like my sound, you can turn it down. I gotta roll, and I walk it alone." Jane read the first verse, she seems not familiar on the song.

The Dark Protector

The Dark Protector

Kayid asks. “He went to get me some clothes.” I say, watching as Bajaro begins humming a strange tune that I’ve never heard. It’s a gentle but haunting sound. “What is that?” I ask her. “It’s the song of the hyenas. It’s something that we sing to our little ones.” She looks up at me. “I hope it’s okay that I’m singing it to her.” “Of course. I think it would be good for my daughter to learn as much about shifters as possible.”

Another fantastic story from author Cooper!! I highly recommend books by this author. The stories/characters are always original, compelling, stories are updated regularly, and are NEVER abandoned. As with other books in this, as well as The Guardian series, I thoroughly enjoyed The Dark Protector

In the Grip of king Roderick

In the Grip of king Roderick

It was a lesson in the interconnectedness of all things, a reminder that every action had a ripple effect that reverberated throughout the environment. The sounds of the jungle provided a constant soundtrack to their journey. Insects hummed in harmonious chorus, their melodies punctuated by the occasional call of exotic birds. Cynthia closed her eyes and allowed herself to be enveloped by the symphony of nature, feeling the pulse of the jungle's heartbeat as if it echoed within her own.

DEIMOS: The Alpha's Unchosen Mate

DEIMOS: The Alpha's Unchosen Mate

As soon as Gia comes into my warmth she flinches and quietens startled by the change of scent but once settled starts bawling once more. So I begin to sway a soft lullaby leaving my lips. I sing her the song of my pack. A song for pups. It's a scared lullaby calling to the Moon Goddess. My feet move side to side and my body rocks slowly. My palm rubs her back and she finally calms down. Hiccups shake her body and she snuggles into my neck.

I love the book but for some reason there was this last update that jumbled all the chapters and now I can't really keep reading because my next chapter is now one that I already read. I would very much like to have the book as it was before, without all the chapters being split into parts.

I'm not done with the book because I cannot ignore my family and work but every time I end with a chapter that breaks Lumina, my heart breaks too. And I carry the heartbreak until I can read again... You affect me so much and I love it! Worth every coin spent and I have few chapters left... ...
