Outside their little cave, the storm was building into something serious. Rain hammered the jungle canopy above them, a steady roar that drowned out most other sounds. Lightning flickered through the entrance, followed by thunder that seemed to shake the mountain itself.
Prue took another bite of the energy bar, chewing it like it was personally offensive to her. "You know, back home we have these amazing things called granola bars. They actually taste good. You might want to look into ’em for your next jungle adventure."
