I am greeted by a sweaty Alpha Kade and Beta Marcus as they spar against each other. At my intrusion, both of their heads whip to the side, their eyes catching mine. Alpha Kade immediately scowls at me, his eyes narrowing at me and I instinctively take one small step back. Beta Marcus smiles at me warmly before turning and punching Alpha Kade in the face. Alpha Kade falls backwards as he is distracted by my intrusion. Beta Marcus pumps his fist in the air before turning back to face me.

Kade Mikaela leaned against the doorframe, her eyes gleaming in the dim light of my office. “You know,” she purred, her voice low and intimate, “you don’t need Valeria to be happy, Kade. You don’t need her at all.”
