22 A dragon! He was a god-damned, fire-breathing, humongous, large toothed dragon-kind Miaka had never seen a real dragon before and was as blown away by him as Kai was. Kai quickly jumped out of the way as the guy shifted, but even as a dragon, he was no match for a God. Kai - being a war God - had no real chance at losing any battle - dragons or not. Miaka ran to the small wooden stage to congratulate her hero, but her efforts were misplaced, she soon found, as the people of the town did not want to forgo the execution.

Her eyes widen and she looks at Avani, who gives her a wide-eyed ‘surprise’ look. “Who?” “Her name is Kaylani. She’s the water dragon.” I pull her plate over so she can eat while sitting in my lap. “Does she look like you or Avani?” Palila puts my plate in front of me and I mouth a ‘thank you’ to her. “Neither. While you and I are fire dragons and our dragons are red, Avani is the Earth dragon and his dragon is green. Kaylani is the water dragon and her dragon is blue."

In the nick of time, Salem stepped in front of Kalista and the serpent froze, baring its fangs at the witch. Everything happened so fast that Kalista only had enough time to let out a horrified gasp and flinch. She stared at the serpent over Salem's shoulder and gulped fearfully. "What is that?" she whispered. "The Ghidorah," Salem answered, keeping her eyes on each of the heads of the serpent. "In other languages, it is called the Kaiju. It guards the old scrolls, and only the stongest witches can tame its fury." "It almost attacked me," Kalista voiced out, taking two careful steps backwards.

Max said snorting while Kai huffed. "We were in the middle of a fight for godsake!" Yang growled in frustration. "Can we keep it for another day? It is irritating to hear your comments. I feel old hearing you." Max said crossing his arms and picking at his claws. "Okay, one question to the almighty Yang dragon. What makes you think you're so superior. I heard you and it was pissing me off to the core. If this Godzilla here didn't say what he said, I might have roasted him for real. Glad to know he isn't like you or the other old farts." Kai snorted and flew to stand beside Max.

He goes on rampages, kills and ravages villages and lands and is the most destructive of the four Dragons. She nearly winced, reminded afresh of everything she had wanted to put out of her mind. But there would be no avoiding the subject with Kai, not forever. Now that she knew his ancestral roots had valued dragons so much that they had entire treasure troves of their bejeweled remains, she could understand his passion for them.
