Killian's POV “You guys think I joined this willingly?!” Esther cried. Katie stared down at her with disgust before bending down to her eye level. “Ma’am, asides the fact I do not give any fuck about what you think…I also plan on finding out myself every single detail from you even if it takes my last breath.” Katie said with so much hate that left me appalled. If I didn't know better, I would say she sounded just like me. It was exactly something I knew I could say.

Estelle motions her hands off her face and takes away her glamor, exposing her true form. “Estelle Barker, Hoodoo rootworker. Who would have ever guessed it?” I give her a broad grin, teasing her back as I open the door to Jasper’s condo. “Hey Jas- whoa! Bro! I said to spend time with your mates, not actually mate with them, while you are waiting for Estelle!” “Hi Keller! Hi Estelle! I’ll, um, go get dressed.” Katie sits up from the floor with no shirt on, disheveled hair and pink cheeks. Before anyone can stop her, she gets up and dashes to the bedroom, snickering the entire way.

“Seems like it is going to be a huge rainfall.” I cursed silently and ran out of the house. It was the wrong time for rain to fall. Why was nature against me all of a sudden? Katie came from a long time of medical werewolves. She was the first werewolf in her family to break the tradition. She had joined the Delta Force as a Cadet and she was the first person that I was partnered to. Katie was excellent at close quarter combats with a dangerousknowledge and expertise on pressure points. She could paralyze anyone in seconds with a few strikes of her fingers and palm.

Saturday classes are something that Catherine had been dreading. She’d very much rather work on her own and spend the entire day in the library for the Related Literature part of her thesis, or patching up news articles of missing children—something she had been doing for so long, and ate up her summers for the past nine years—in order to see if there are similarities between the missing kids and Felipe’s. She made it a point to finish all her works in order to play detectives always. She refused to let this case rest.

The lady was taller than her and had long and full hair that looked so healthy. She also had a pretty face that looked prettier with her smile. "Hello," Caitlyn simply said, quite confused about who the lady is. "My name's Kate. I moved in today. Next door," She explained. "Ah!" Caitlyn breathed down with a small chuckle. "What were you thinking? That I'm here to kidnap you?" The lady joked and they laughed. "You're welcome. My name's Caitlyn." "Nice to meet you, Caitlyn," She said and extended her hand for a handshake.

*******CADEN******* Immediately Ronald beckon on all of them to enter the arena, my heart starts to race. What if something bad happens? What if she gets killed? Snap out of it.... I can't lose her when I have just gotten. Please Moon Goddess, keep her safe. “Dude, she is going to be fine" Keith said while patting my shoulder “And how exactly do you know that?" I ask. “Cause when I pass by her and Amy's training sessions, I saw how she beat the shit out of Any" he said with a smile.

An hour before the fireworks show begins, Florian and I were seated side by side on the couch with the laptop in front of us. We were supposed to watch a horror film but ended up seeing a rom-com Korean show. It’s a pretty long season with almost ten episodes. I’m not sure if Florian was enjoying this kind of film but he didn’t complain anyway when I chose to play this one.

I glanced over his shoulder, not surprised to see two random girls giving him the candy looks. Since Elliot had the looks and all, girls swooned over him way too easily. Except me, since he was my best friend and Zoe of course. "Because, Ava is wasting her looks on someone like Ian Lockhart." Zoe explained in a somewhat blank tone, her dark black eyes fixated on Elliot's face in what seemed like a glare to me. Zoe was that type. With her short black hair barely reaching past her shoulders, she was more of the emo type. She always kept her emotions in check. Too busy to even give a shit about others.
