The Lost Legacy

The Lost Legacy

Something larger, and far more dangerous. “You have been alive. That was the priority. Now you should not remain outside for so long.” Victor informed him. “I told you I need time.” “And you have it. But it does not mean you are not at risk.” Ethan frowned. “What risk?”. He was met with silence. “If I am at risk, I should at least know what kind of risk it is.” “The same family that destroyed you is searching for any surviving heir.” Cold sweat broke out on Ethan's forehead. “And they don’t know I exist?”

Keeper, Not Lover

Keeper, Not Lover

More jewels and gowns than I could count. Every night he needed me, I’d put on whatever lacy thing he picked out. We’d have sex. Five years. 999 times. There were moments—his sweat dripping on my forehead, his soft breaths inside me, the way he’d look at me—when I let myself dream he loved me. Then the video dropped. Him. On the street. Kissing another woman. I knew the truth. He was my keeper, not my lover. Everyone laughed. They couldn't wait to see me lose my mind, begging him to keep me.

Marked From Birth

Marked From Birth

made of rusted, ancient brass had latched onto Aethelgard’s airlock. When the seals hissed open, the Union guards expected an alien. Instead, out stepped a man wearing a suit of steam-powered armor so primitive it made Silas’s gear look like a toy. He was ancient, his skin like parchment, his eyes replaced by clockwork gears. "The 14th Cycle," the old man wheezed, his voice amplified by a brass speaker. "You’ve finally arrived. We’ve been waiting in the silence for three hundred years." This was the Lost Guard, the original engineers who had been sent into orbit by the First King to "Keep Watch." They were the descendants of a forgotten project to build a second home among the stars, and the

The Lost Pack

The Lost Pack

My sweet Jax, he looks at me like I’ve just told him I’ve bought the entire Lego shop. Outside, nine wolves stand in a perfect circle, eyes glowing faintly gold and silver, their bodies unmoving, their attention fixed outward. Protecting me as if I’m something sacred. I need to find a way to send them away, not because I don’t want them, but because there has to be more to their second chance than me. They have people who love them waiting for them.

Loving this book so far! Author, as many have stated in the chapter comments, 291 & 292 are repeat chapters from 283 & 284. Though I do believe they should be at 291/292 (makes more sense) and not 283/284.

is my next question. "There is a traitor. And not just in the city. In the royal palace itself. Only a handful of royals and servants know the location of the source of the underground river. So when people in the city began dying of the plague, we sent scouts to the spring. They found carcasses from a herd of dead, diseased cows floating." Anthrax!

SUPREME GHOST WEREWOLF

SUPREME GHOST WEREWOLF

She whispered to the plants and trees, asking for their assistance in finding the lost city. After several days of travel, they finally arrived at the entrance to the lost city. The sight before them was breathtaking. Massive stone walls, covered in ancient runes and ivy, rose up from the forest floor. The air was thick with an aura of ancient power, and a sense of awe washed over the clan members. "We've found it," Kai said, his voice filled with wonder. "The lost city of Elarion." The entrance to the city was guarded by two colossal stone statues, their eyes glowing with a faint, otherworldly light. As the clan approached, the statues came to life, their stone bodies creaking and groaning

Lost City at Sea

“Ah, so you’ve seen the painting of the Lost City at Sea. Of course I didn’t paint it! That painting belonged to my father, who was determined to find the Great Sea City of Ajens.” “The Great Sea City of Ajens? Sounds a little familiar, I should say.” “My father used to tell me stories every night before bedtime. Some stories were completely made up and others were based on actual events. When I was five years old, he told me a very long one. It was about a highly sophisticated ancient civilization called Ajens that existed in the distant past.

Harvey York's Rise to Power

When Coco saw that her brother was still unable to fully contain his hatred, she gave it a thought before saying quietly, "You want revenge, right? There's still a way. Even if we can't make our moves directly, we can make someone else do it. "I heard that the Lost City's Knights Templar has sent an envoy to Grand City, who'll be arriving this afternoon. Because of what happened with Hawk, Harvey and Lost City are already at odds. A little nudge here and there, and they'll be at each other's throats in no time!"

The Secrets They Keep

The Secrets They Keep

Setting the picture to the side, Violet looked at the other things that were inside the drawer. The first thing that caught her eye was a small black book. The page Violet opened was a list. There was a name of a city, a first and last name, then a number, and finally an address. This had to be what Jeremy was looking for. She set the book to the side and looked at the rest of the contents. Some of them were letters discussing this Richard Morgan she’d heard so much about. Whoever he was, he was not only a thorn in the alpha’s side but a lot many other people.

THE MAFIA KING'S FORBIDDEN BRIDE

THE MAFIA KING'S FORBIDDEN BRIDE

Stone towers disappeared into darkness. Bridges connected enormous structures. Symbols covered every wall. Lorenzo stared. "This is impossible." Gabriel shook his head. "No." "This is Lagos." Aria turned toward him. "You're saying this entire city is underneath the city we know?" "Not exactly." "What do you mean?" "The modern city was built over it." Seraphina looked around. "Who lived here?" "The first Keepers." "How many?" "Thousands." "What happened to them?" Gabriel looked toward the darkness.
