“They haven’t asked yet. I’d rather not bring it up until they do.” “Agreed.” Cassian looked at Renata. “Halden?” Renata glanced at her notes, though it was clear she already knew what was in them. “They pushed Thursday’s call to next week. No reason given beyond a scheduling conflict.” “Has that happened before?” “Not with them. They’ve been slow on responses the last couple of weeks, general lateness, missed windows, that kind of thing. Nothing that looked deliberate until now.” “Find out if it’s actually a scheduling conflict.”

He asked as soon as the woman was seated on a chair close to him. He was dismayed by the woman's late arrival. Removing her sunglasses, Danica replied. “I was caught up with something at home, so I couldn't come earlier as scheduled." She replied, wearing a smile. “What could be so important that you couldn't come on time? What could it be that made you come so late? Do you know how long I've waited?” Kelvin was infuriated, as he thought that something might have gone wrong with Danica.

"You won’t understand..." Isla also felt helpless and continued, "In a situation like this, it would be strange if the star arrived on time. Generally speaking, however, most celebrities usually arrive a few minutes late, 10 minutes at most, just to put on a show to distinguish themselves. It's really rare to see someone like Exo to arrive an hour late." "I'm fed up! If it weren't for you, I wouldn’t have waited so long and I would’ve scolded him long ago!"

Aura felt a cold breeze penetrate her body, even to the bones. Her brain was working hard, calculating carefully in her mind. But even though she had counted repeatedly, the answer remained the same. Her menstruation hasn't come yet, even though it was three weeks late from the scheduled time. Oh God! Why didn't Aura realize that she had been late for her period for that long? Why didn't Aura realize that she hadn't needed a pad for a long time? Why didn't Aura realize that there had been such a significant change in her body?

It always comes on the 10th of every month and sometimes as early as the 8th but never has it been this late. My fingers crawled under my skirt and I touched my panties. Nothing! How can that be? For a moment, I totally forgot about the planned assassination on Katrina Esposito? Where is my monthly flow? Where is my fvcking period?!!

“How late is she?” “Approximately twenty minutes, ma’am.” When she did have the decency to show up for the appointment that she had selected the time for, I would just have to make her wait. No. No. That was the petty thing to do. This conversation was going to be hard enough and I was only drawing it out further. I buzzed Cynthia again. “Did she give a reason for being late?” “I haven’t heard from her, Luna.” But before I could reach for the small button again, it crackled with another voice. “Goddess forbid the Luna waits for anyone,” the voice said.

Mrs Penelope frowned, “You guys always have new designs every month, and you only distribute them the following months. Why is it different this time?” Ava took another deep breath, making sure her smile stayed on her face, “There's been some issues with us these past months, and we are trying to meet up with schedules and deadlines now,” “We are currently working on the new designs for this month, but they won't be out until next month. We are very sorry for the delay,” She bowed and apologised Mrs Penelope scoffed, her face filled with fury, “When did you guys become this incompetent? You are letting your issues affect the business. I thought Richard was better than this,”

"You will have to wait for other months for a new Donor" "How long will it take?". "I can't reassure you, but, let's say three months from now". He said and Mrs.Lisa sighed tiredly. She arrived at work and she was confronted by Mrs.Elena. "I know you are disappointed, well, I couldn't raise the money, the money I was expecting, got delayed".She said nonchalantly. "Is okay, I totally understand, thank you for your concern". "Sure, is the Donor still available?".

A voice of a middle-aged man came through and responded, "Hello, am I speaking to Miss Scott? I am calling from the Koda Leasing Company..." Sabrina tensed up immediately and interrupted the man before he could finish, "Um, I'm so sorry, Master Tong. I think I would need the camera for a while longer, I wanted to keep it until..." Sabrina abruptly had covered the speaker on her phone and turned to ask Nigel, "Excuse me, Master Nigel. I wanted to confirm with you, when...would we receive our salary?" "On the 15th of every month, you would have to wait for another 17 days before the 15th of next month," Nigel replied after running a quick calculation in his head.

She leaned forward slightly, her tone sharpening. "Don't forget that we’re already midway through the month, and your Country F shots are slated as Wanderlight's July cover feature." “So you better finish it soon so we can start preparing next month’s content.” I stared at her, already feeling a headache coming on. “Can you at least let me finish one thing before bringing up the next?” “No,” she replied calmly. “You’re notoriously slow with submissions. Starting early is the only way we stay on schedule.” “We’ve nearly missed deadlines several times because of you.”
