Elena Carson I spend the whole day at the library making research and looking up materials. The school library is huge, and I’m friends with the librarian, so he gave me easy access to the restricted sections and even pulled some old archives for me. After hours of digging through dusty books and scrolling through old articles, my eyes burn and my back aches from leaning over the desk. The air is a bit stale, and it smells like old paper and polished wood. It’s almost 5pm now. I know Killian gets off work at six, so I have just one hour left. I stare at the computer for a while, feeling sleepy. The last textbook I need is up on the highest shelf. I’d need a ladder to get it.

The library was still open, but the librarian was just getting ready to leave. “Oh, what is Her Highness doing in the library at a time like this?” the librarian asked, poring over the rim of her pince-nez glasses. Madam Fern, the librarian, was a thin, irritable woman who looked like an underfed vulture. “Your Highness?” she repeated suspiciously. Clara, who had never imposed her authority before, asked in a kind smile, “I am thinking if I could use the library, please? And probably borrow some if I found any.”

The place felt overwhelming, like I had walked into a cathedral made for books instead of prayers. The ceiling arched so high above me that it almost made me dizzy to look at it, and the chandelier hanging there glittered with bright lights. Those shelves stretched up to the ceiling, lined with books that looked older than I imagined. The whole room smelled of leather and polish. She folded her lips, refusing to eat. "You have nothing to say to me?" He shifted his gaze towards me. "No,” he eyed me with disdain. “Why are you still here? Beat it! You're not allowed in here." "I have every right to be here. I am your Luna. What's yours is mine. Are you telling me you are going to chase me out of my own library?" I asked him. "Do you really need me to spell it out for you, Kendra? I think you would have gotten it by now, but you're seriously very dumb. I don't want to have anything to do with you. I want you to leave me alone!" he yelled.

The woman was my heroine in more than one sense; she had a confidence that hardly anyone else possessed. "Alright, you puritan, but before you go, three more books about werewolves in love came in. You can add them to your list of borrowed books," she added with a triumphant smile. "Oh, my God! You're terrible..." "And you adore me for it. I already registered them in the system for you and left them under the cabinet where you keep your stuff." "Thanks, Kendra." "Not just thanks; give me an extended review with all the details about what happens in them, and we won't have any problems."

People who cared about her just as much as she did about them, even though she was in no way one of them. The feeling made her feel so much better, and made her hope that her own folks back home— scratch that— back in Riverdale, had found people like that too. For about thirty minutes, Kendra was lost in the world of geography as she read through the huge voluminous book, but she was suddenly interrupted by the sound of the huge library door opening.

I giggle After breakfast, Kendra decides to go to the library to read some books, she has always been an avid lover of books and often reads books when she has to clear her mind from reality. Since I was the only one at home, I decide to binge-watch any movie I could find on my laptop. I heard a loud knock on the apartment door and I realized I had fallen asleep while binge-watching a movie. "The planning department prepared thoroughly for the data to be presented today, thus our new staff Ms. Keira Gray will be in charge of our presentation." Keira was filled with confidence as she handed her flash drive to Mr. Watson. The whole boardroom was filled with murmurs as she was preparing for her presentation. "Such a pretty lady, I am not expecting much from beautiful women like this." Leo, the manager of the accounting department sneered as he commented to his peer. However, the materials and design looked excellent, and Kiran was pleased with Lindsay's arrangements. He walked into the courtyard. Wendy Kruger was reading a book in the yard. Seeing Kiran, she blushed and stood up to greet him. Kiran admired this scholarly woman. He had spent his childhood on a mountain, with no other activities except martial arts and reading. As a well-read individual, Kiran noticed that many women he met had limited knowledge, including his wife, Snow Xander, who read mainly professional books. In contrast, Wendy, despite not attending school, was well-versed in literature.

She is such a fun little kid, and I am so lucky to have her in my life. When we walk in, Mrs. Carmichael, the head librarian, is shocked to see us during the middle of the week. She comes around the front desk and gives Maddie a big hug. She has always had a soft spot for Maddie. They even email periodically about new books coming to the library that Mrs. Carmichael thinks Maddie will like or ones that Maddie asks her to get. We don’t have to go far into the library today. Mrs. Carmichael has already pulled the books Maddie has asked for and several that Mrs. Carmichael thinks she would like into the holds section. I’m happy with my kindle currently, so we don’t go past the front desk. As we
