“He suffered a minor concussion to the back of his head. I am assuming he fell,” Doctor Kirk begins to explain, and I fold my arms on my chest as I listen keenly.
“The effects are usually temporary but can include headaches and problems with concentrating, memory, balance, and coordination,” He continues.
“Good news is that this would most likely resolve over seven to 14 days, with an average of ten days. I’d advise that he does not return to sports or other physical activity sooner than a week, but otherwise, he’s fine,” Doctor Kirk smiles.
