I gasped in pain as my head hit the floor. Right. Of course.

My head banged as the metallic clang of a rod meets my skull echoing through my body, I dropped the keys in my hand and held the back of my head in pain. Time momentarily froze as the searing pain radiated through my skull, also accompanied by a metallic taste on her tongue. And instantaneously, I feel the pain surged, and a searing storm centered at the back of my head. It felt like the world tilted on its axis, spinning into a disorienting abyss.

It's the worst headache I've ever had,” He said, propping his arms up on his legs and leaning his head into his hands so they cradled his head as he spoke.

My hair is damp with sweat, sticking slightly to my forehead, my chest rising and falling heavier than it should be. “Get a grip,” I mutter under my breath. I straighten, pulling my shirt over my head, tossing it aside, then reaching for the hem of my shorts. When a sudden sharp pain hit me. “Ah— shit.” My breath catches as the pain slices through my lower abdomen, strong enough to make my knees buckle. I grab the edge of the sink but it doesn’t help. I drop. One knee hits the tiled floor first, then the other, my hand moving instinctively to my abdomen, pressing down hard as if that will stop it.

I ask, my brow raised in question. Henry once again nods his head in understanding, his fidgeting becoming more erratic as the moon grows more full in the night sky. Henry suddenly drops to the ground on his knees as a cry of pain pulls from his lips. His head moves backwards, his body contorting as more howls of pain leave him.

I jerked and trashed but he didn't budge. I was weakened because I had not fed in a while. My whole body felt like it was being crushed.

I fell backward, my head hitting the door frame with a sickening crack. Pain exploded through my skull then everything went black.
