“Relax.” Elian sighed but turned to us with a soft smile. “Sorry about him. Were you guys trying to talk about the project? We’re in.” God, even his voice sounded like calm in human form. It was impossible to stay annoyed when he smiled like that. “C’mon, Kae,” Elian teased, leaning closer. “Don’t be stubborn for once.” Kaelin let out a tired sigh and stood up, pretending to be annoyed but clearly giving in. “Fine,” he muttered.
