I sipped on it, closing my eyes to savour the taste and the sting. “Scar,” I called calmly, placing the glass back on the table. A bald-headed man stepped out from the shadows and the look on Kilan's face further contorted to intense fear and shock. Scar bowed his head slightly toward the camera. “Two limbs,” I said bringing the glass of wine to my lips again, sipping on the contents. Scar's face lit up at my words. A maniacal grin spread across his lips as he made his way to a table placed behind Kilan's head. The table was covered in tools meant for the purpose of inflicting pain. He picked up a sickle, felt the tip with his finger, and nodded approvingly.

Mrs. Edgar's eyes widened, realizing her slip of the tongue. She composed herself and tried to backtrack, but the damage had been done. The room fell into a heavy silence, broken only by the sound of Kim scrambling to her feet, a mix of fear and defiance in her eyes. Kim, still visibly shaken, hid behind Mrs. Edgar.

she said trailing the iron scissors on his palms. Now eager to see what next she would do, I walked closer ; "A pair of gloves please,' she asked and Nolan walked up with plastic gloves. She took her time to wear them before taking back the scissors from Nolan. Squatting back behind Wilson's chair, she lifted the scissors and cut open half the thumb to his right hand. I believe that is when reality finally sank into Wilson's brain as he started fighting but he couldn't do much as he was chained; "Don't worry. I can't just leave you with a scratch," she reassured him before cutting his whole thumb.

Jade pressed her hand against my mouth, trying not to scream while hot tears pricked her eyes. His large hand reached up and plucked the scissors out, letting them dangle from his fingers. Blood began to pour from his neck, resembling a stream from a chocolate fondue fountain. "I hit an artery." Eduardo must have realized this, too, because he ceased moving towards her. The scissors fell to the floor, landing in the center of a puddle. He was losing blood so quickly that a pool had already formed at his feet. She just stared up at him in disbelief. None of this felt real. He reached his fingers up, pressing against the wound, and stared in horror at his blood-soaked hand before taking a gian

It was a pathetic and undeniable craven existence but it was how they were winning the war. Dave let out a sigh. "No. He used a HG blade." I nodded. A brilliant man named Henry Gomez spent his life developing a UV spiked, but essentially silver based liquid that could be applied to any metallic object, leaving a coat of active poison that would kill both shade and host upon entering the their shared body. Something in perfectly balanced formula temporarily imprisoned the shade and as long as the wounds you inflicted on the human were mortal, the shade shared the same fate. The HG liquid had become as precious to us as light bulbs. It was hard to come by at the best of times, especially out h

It showed the man’s face clearer. Hurriedly Qeiza let go of her hostage’s hand. She got up. Then, she bowed. “Please forgive me!” Teddie stood up. He brushed off the dirt on both of his knees. He stared in surprise at Qeiza. To make his vision clearer, he switched on his flashlight. He aimed the light right at Qeiza’s face. Qeiza shook her head to the left and right. She tried to avoid the dazzling light. “You’re Miss Kim, right?” asked Teddie. Qeiza nodded.

On the screen, Edwin Clarke—the old butler who secretly gave me extra rations and protected me when Piper tried to starve me out—is kneeling in the mud outside the Eastmoor Quarter, a heavy silver blade pressed tightly against his throat. Standing behind him, holding the hilt with a cold, terrifying smirk, is Kieran Ravenscroft himself. My eyes turn a lethal, glowing crimson in the darkness of the room. My breath comes out in a slow, steady hiss as my claws—real, thick, razor-sharp wolf claws—burst through the tips of my fingers, tearing right through my tactical gloves.

Kimberly looked at the horizontal scar that ran across the man’s left cheek which was a constant reminder of one of the missions they had embarked upon. A suicide bomber had ran into her team, causing most of them to take shrapnels to their limbs and torsos. The childen stopped their game and watched the old pickup truck come to a halt. Three men alighted from the vehicle, entered one of the huts and dragged out five people with hoods over the

Several bottles of liquor littered the floor. Christopher himself was standing before a huge canvas that had an incomplete drawing on it.
