He lifted his head. "The pawns are the poor, restricted to one movement at a time. The rook, bishop and knight are the middle class. They have a fairer chance at life but still limited. Then the king, the wealthy, the most important figure in society. The poor and middle class look up to their position as something they should attain. And lastly the queen, the super rich and influential. The most powerful piece on the board.”
