We cannot defeat a single Night Hallow with only our spears and lances!"

He mentioned the state of the buildings and the condition he met most soldiers, how the Barbarians had attacked them and how they attacked while he was there. “Okay, I will see you in three days at my banquet” That was the only comment the king made before leaving Slyvester’s chamber. Desire finally came out of the bathroom several minutes after the king left, pulling Slyvester out of his deep thoughts. “I don’t like him at all. He’s your king, but he’s not my favorite person, my lord” Desire nagged and sat down on the bed, far away from her master. “He’s not my favorite person either” He replied.

So, I yelled before the door was closed. “I will never be a killer like you, Your Majesty!” The door was closed shut on my face with a loud thud, extinguishing the candle of hope in my heart. My legs seemed to lose all their bones and I couldn’t move an inch from my spot. Leaning against the wall, I landed on the floor, the rivers of despair flowed out of my eyes as I mourned my bad luck. “Why is Maddox a King, the Moon Goddess?” Resting my head against the wall, I sat on the cold floor, complaining to my gracious Goddess.

I said as I crossed my legs and tapped my fingers on the table anxiously, waiting for Reina to come back from her bathroom trip. “Alright then.” Desire said but I could see how disappointed she was. But she stood up and left. I waited for quite some time and almost thought that Reina had escaped me, but just when I was about to convince myself that she had really run away, I saw her walking towards me. “Oh! “I shall send Marcus and Elodie of the Moonflame Pack to the Prison of Despair to lure out the former Alpha Marcos of the Blackwind Pack.” A dramatic pause echoed in the air after he declared this ‘not sure about that but let’s try it’ kind of decision. “Prison of Despair,” I hummed. As if all prisons aren’t in despair enough, they decided this prison in the Black Mountains, guarded by monstrous gods known as the Bloodhounds, to be a literal home of despair. The Prison of Despair indeed. “Send them to this Prison of Despair so I can also have my petty, pretty revenge too, Alpha King,” I crooned, although I cannot match my mate’s playful cool smile.
