King Of Wrath By Ana Huang の小説・ストーリー

With a howl, her wolf’s rank demoted one level as her powers were snatched and imbibed by the Lycan King. “Now let the contest begin! Before that we will award bonus points to Dr. Maya … ” the royal chef learnt from the Minister of Justice’s experience with Beta Zane’s vocal anger. “ … as the royals were pleased and delighted with the unique experience and for righting the wrong of Princess Athena’s accusations,” he announced. The crowd fell quiet. However, it was a mere act of obedience. Anger simmered amongst them. They were going to make the omega pay dearly in this round.

My skin turned cold, and all I could do was shield my head. "I'm telling my mom what you really are!" Then came the kicks that were relentless and vicious. He wanted me dead. They were supposed to be healers in white coats, yet in that moment, they looked like monsters drunk on bloodlust, stripped of sanity. Even with my arms over my skull, darkness shimmered at the edge of my vision. Warm blood ran down my face, blinding me. I couldn't die here. Not before I dragged these two monsters who had abandoned their patient and killed my mother-in-law straight to hell.

The King waved his hand absently for me to go away. I rolled my eyes behind his back and left. I gave a few warriors the vial of wolfsbane serum that would hopefully leave even a Shadow powerless. My eyes twinkled at the black and metallic liquid. This was one of my own creations and I prayed the little venom we extracted from Hope wasn't going to be wasted. Of course I assured the King it would work, but I had no Shadow to test it on so I didn't really know. Elena POV

" What the hell is that? - I think - What the hell is that? What did they do to me!? - I say after sinking my claws into my opponent's eyes. - We talk about having sweet dreams. - I growl at the wolf who said but couldn't focus on his face - You didn't black out because you interrupted the dosage, but you're probably disoriented. - He smiled - I will kill you. I WILL KILL YOU! - Growl shaking my head "- I'm going to kill you. I'm going to kill... - I say with tears in my eyes - Take her to punishment, she didn't do her mission. - Let me go, please. Compassion. - Ana said with swollen and scared eyes.

Not only that, he wants to take over his brother's wife? All of a sudden, the shame and anger that was running through Ana's mind, over her one night stand with a total stranger, vanished completely, she now has a new and bigger problem to face. Ana looked at Jake, her miserably looking husband, then turned to look at his car parked by the roadside with her stepsister, Katie in it…. Her anger increases as she remembers the betrayal, every time she looks at Katie. But because Ana loves her pack so much, as the true Luna of the pack, she's saddled with the responsibility to fight for her people, she had no choice but to agree to Jake's plea.

As Xavier and I withdrew our hands from the bowl, I felt a profound sense of connection—not just to him, but to our pack and our community. As the ceremony continued, the weight of my newfound role as Queen of the werewolf kingdom settled upon me like a heavy cloak. Xavier's father, his voice carrying the authority of generations past, declared me Queen with a solemnity that echoed through the grand hall. It was a moment of profound significance, marking not just a union between Xavier and me, but a pivotal shift in leadership and responsibility.

Now he is building each of the plans with someone else, and I am left in the darkness. "You deserve the pain, you choose to be hurt and miserable, blame yourself," I whispered and leaned against the wall. Hoping to have a good night's sleep. Tomorrow is another battle to make a living. And I'll go back to black.

Meanwhile, Shanon became even more active online, posting video after video, painting herself as a pitiful single mother abused by her husband and robbed of her child. The comment section was filled with sympathy for her and hatred toward me. "Poor Goddess Xiaoxiao." "Leomund deserves to die." Reading them made my blood boil. I wanted nothing more than to storm over and tear the mask off her fake, saintly face, but I held back. I would destroy her in court.

We are stronger, more sophisticated, and graceful, even more beautiful than other supernatural beings. I look at the picture of my brother's mate and ask a snotty wolf where I can find her. She commented something nasty, and I slapped her, leaving her screaming at me, but I don't care about her. How dare she call Anaiah a slut. Do these people know she's a future Queen of the realm? Once she is crowned, she can order them to be wiped out without consequences. I find another girl who points me to her, but what I found made my blood boil. A woman was about to slap her. I hold her hand and tighten it. Her face contort in pain. I glare at the woman as tears swell in her eyes.

"Well, damn. You don't see a pretty thing like this every day." The other stepped closer. He grabbed my chin with dirty, rough fingers. "Yeah. This is some rare top-shelf quality. Who did you piss off to end up like this, darling?" I slapped his hand away. "What do you think you're doing?" "What are we doing?" They laughed darkly. "We're just following orders and teaching you some manners." One of them grabbed my wrist. His hand slid up my forearm. The disgusting sensation made my skin crawl. "Don't touch me! Do you even know who I am? I saved the Wolf King’s life. I'm the Queen's sister!"
