This silver liquid poured down, gathering in some areas while drying out in others. “Drinking in her power gave the shifters magic, powerful magic. The rest that rained down from the heavens formed pools, the source of each family’s power. This was her second gift.” As he continued speaking his voice turned dark, eyes of a million stars lost in another time, another place. “She loved her creation so much that she couldn’t bear the thought of them dying, but to create something immortal, such as herself, was not done among the Gods. The second gift was that of an eternal life, one without age or sickness, but they were not truly immortal. A blade, a powerful blast of magic…it could snuff out

Such a well written book and the story really drags you in, I’ve enjoyed reading this so much and hope a sequel comes out. I really feel this book should be printed, I’d read it over and over again. The book is long but it’s well worth it.

The author has a fantastic ability to keep me on the edge of my seat and a great ability to describe the scenery around the characters. I find the characters to be mostly well defined and consistent throughout the book. There are some typos and incorrect grammar, but not enough to disturb me complet

The Bad Son-in-Law

The Bad Son-in-Law

Kirin Kirin or Qilin is a half dragon half horse mahluh, originally from Chinese mythology but spread throughout East Asia. The real animal that is considered 'close to' the kirin is the giraffe (confused right? >.<), it is said that the giraffe was once considered a Kirin. In Chinese mythology, the kirin is a sacred animal that has good qualities, but the kirin can be a savage and terrible animal when threatened. It is said that kirin only appears in places ruled by good and wise rulers. 30. Tengu

The Miracle Doctor Won’t Be A Kept Man

The Miracle Doctor Won’t Be A Kept Man

It was already afternoon, and the sunlight bathed Kirin Mountain in a golden hue, making the beautiful landscape shimmer as if coated in gold. From a distance, Kiran gazed at Kirin Mountain, which resembled a mythical qilin lying down, its exposed back covered in lush greenery along with the constructed temples and roads. Their previous visit to Kirin Mountain had been to its more desolate rear side. This time, they approached from the front. As Kiran looked at the mountain, he thought of the demonic fetus inside Wendy Kruger. It was clear that the fetus had absorbed a great deal of spiritual energy from the environment and was on the verge of maturation.

"hmm, it is. They have a holy beast Kirin as their guardian and recently they have also tamed the holy thunder beast saving many villages and towns from its rampage" "Thunder beast? hmm," Xia faked curiosity. The girl enthusiastically continued, "oh it's mostly a thunder wolf. It was only thought to be a myth. But the golden tribe managed to tame one. ohh, ohh sir, they are going to parade the beast tomorrow. You have to see it. It is going to be written in history," she said with sparkling eyes. Xia woodenly placed his wine cup down. "It is going to go down in history," he whispered mysteriously.

THE LOST TIDE KING

THE LOST TIDE KING

The creature from below climbed onto the final step. Its massive body blocked the staircase. Scales covered it from throat to tail, pale as old bone. The hanging lanterns beneath its horns burned with gold fire. It lowered its head toward Shigure. He did not raise his weapon. Still angry? The creature snapped at him. Its jaws closed inches from his face. Shigure smiled faintly. Yes. Kiyomi stared. You know that thing? It has a name. What? Harun. The creature rumbled. The bridge shook.

Alpha Fenriz

Alpha Fenriz

A huge fucking silver-furred fox. I step back from Umiko with a frown on my face. I knew she wasn’t a wolf or Lycan, but to be honest, I never expected there to be a fox inside of her. Not only that, but the one I just saw wasn’t a Japanese spirit as one would expect because of her lineage. I’ve met Kitsunes, Kumihos, and even the Chinese Huli jing, so I know what I’m talking about when I say that this thing inside Umiko is entirely different. /“Did you feel that?”/ I ask Baron, and he nods.

This book did not disappoint! It had a bit of everything so it kept me at the edge of my seat. The passion, the pain, the drama and love were all superbly executed. I only wish to know what book comes after Creed???? I have read all before it and want to keep reading in the correct order(spinoffs).

Dragon-kissed

Dragon-kissed

“But Hououtenku is different. It’s not a technique. It’s just a myth that our ancestors made up. To give us hope that no matter how low the Clan of Vulcanus sank or how dark our history got, we will persist. I mean, think about it: an old bird that fans its own funeral pyre with its wings until it’s fully consumed. From the ashes, a new being rises, a new red Slayer – capable of controlling the kinetic energy of atoms to generate his own fire. I have better luck believing a story like Griffin’s, because evolution just doesn’t skip centuries like that.” “Who knows? This world has many mysteries we don’t have all the answers to.” They both fell quiet. “What’s the kuji-in hand seal for it by th

She suggested. "What? No. You'll get even more soaked." "Well, it's not like I'm not already soaked now am I?" He contemplated for a while before he finally give in and nod his head, "Alright, but cover your head with my jacket," Saga open the door. He was ready to make a run for it. It was a simple thing to do really but Kira somehow manage to trip on her own feet and fall, she unconsciously grabbing Saga for support, taking him off guard and they fell. The pair burst out laughing while still laying on their back, covered in mud and clearly drench because of the rain, and still holding into each other.
