I turned off my phone screen and took a deep breath. This time, I wouldn't wait any longer.

A saying went: as long as one endured, life's hardships would never end. With a self-mocking smile, I said, "You're back, honey." The woman rose triumphantly and extended her hand to me. "Hello, I'm Eli's girlfriend. My name is Beatrix Green." I held her hand and replied, "Hello, Bix. You don't mind if I call you that, do you?" Her hand was indeed smooth and soft She sneered, pulled her hand back, and wiped it on her skirt as if she had touched something dirty. "Sure, why not?"

And me? An impotent bodyguard who couldn’t give her what she craved. I closed my eyes for a moment. Why does it hurt this much? Then an idea popped up in my mind. “Maybe, there's a way.” I took my phone and went to G****e.

Eros’s household. Before they met, it was just Sein and Eris playing the game of tag as they share those cute giggles and keep on tapping each other. But then, Shekynah showed up asking if she could join them, Sein of course was happy to meet someone aside from his sister, but then of all the sudden Eris went quiet and was just staring at them busy introducing themselves, It turns out Shekynah was a 3rd degree cousin of Eris and that they actually know each other and would occasionally play around whenever they meet. My phone started going off like crazy. Keith, "I am NOT a player!" Keith, "Why are you not responding?" Keith, "Please just give me a chance to explain." Bubbles pop up on my screen. Keith, " I see you are back online, I'm sorry if I threw you off last night. Maybe I jumped the gun. I really like who you are and want to know you better. We are both in a complicated situation and I just want you to hear my side, please meet me and if you want to tell me to fuck off then I will, but please just give me the opportunity to talk to you."

if only i knew him better. After trying to move on, trying to stay strong, trying to act like I don't care, I can't help but break down. Why did he come back into my life? why did I accept Sona's case...why why why?. Why can't my past ever leave me? why am I so weak...why am I even living right now?

But I didn't bag him, not in that regard at least. “So, am I forgiven?” I turned on the puppy eyes and they both frowned for a minute, holding out on me, which was about to make me panic till they burst into laughter “Of course yes. We just started being friends, it's fine if we didn't know every detail of your life yet. That's what friendship and time is supposed to reveal.”
