She snarled, viciously striking me across the face with enough force to knock me into the muddied ground. I landed with a small thud on my side, a blur once again tricking my vision, no not one, but many. I blinked in shock, my eyes barley able to focus on the dozens of vampires who suddenly appeared in the small clearing; each one bowing to their prince. Silas was by my side in the next instant, lifting me from the ground as three others lifted Vincent and when my master spoke; the entirety of Lady Phantomhive’s men backed away in fear. “Destroy them all.”

ORION POV I watched in confusion as Knight suddenly forced the shift and rushed into the city until I saw what set him off in rage. Stupid hunters now they have signed off their deaths as I saw the rest of the wolves shift and storm inside the city. I held off on the vampires and told them to seek another way in. I noticed the witches started to chant again and a huge wall of energy was made around the city so they couldn't shoot any weapons outside of it.

Apparently, last-night-me had decided we were now writing about vampires. Specifically, a vampire falling in love with a woman hunted by his kind. She was brave. He was tortured. There was a scene where he saved her from a rogue and then watched her sleep while battling his own thirst. I skimmed through it, cheeks heating. It was good. Embarrassingly good. And clearly inspired by a certain brooding neighbor who refused to stay out of my subconscious.

It gathered around, thickening and bristling so that all who came in contact with it were immediately rebuffed by its scorching heat and rough edges. The vampires waged a bloody war against the Brevians, ripping off flesh and digging out hearts. They fed on the blood of their victims after every kill, thereby getting stronger and fiercer. The Brevians fled for their lives after seeing their comrades drop down in alarming amounts. The vampires chased after them, killing them with shocking speed. By midnight, over five thousand Brevian soldiers lay dead. The vampires fed on their blood until they could drink no longer then they faced the Jaresh empire's central city.

Massimo responded, trying to be calmed as much as possible. But, this man he just called Knight doesn't like peace. It's really his mission to pissed us off, despite Massimo's request. “You know that we don't like peace, Alpha Massimo. We don't care who you are, and if we want to kill anybody, we can do it. You know who we are. We feared no one, even if you are an Alpha King, just so you know.” Knight suddenly showed us his fangs, and his red eyes. I was shocked upon seeing those. These were not the qualities of the wolf, but with the vampires. I never expected that they truly existed.
