He picked up his car keys, and wallet and made his way out. “What’s the worst that could happen?” He mumbled as he started the car engine, making his way to Beatrice’s residence. After what felt like a forever ride, he arrived at her place. Just as expected, everywhere was dark and quiet. Daniel got out of the car and with slow steps, he made his way toward the entrance. He took two deep breaths before bringing his hand to the door and knocking on it. ......... Beatrice was already in bed, about to sleep when she heard the knock on her door, making her grumble.

Maybe tell me what the hell kind of team I've signed with that does stuff like this. I knock on the door, bouncing from foot to foot, still shaking. A few minutes later, Daniel answers the door wearing athletic shorts and nothing else. "What's up, Rookie?" he asks, surprised to see me. "Everything okay?" "Do you have a minute?" The look he gives me tells me I probably need to calm down a bit more. He cocks his head to gauge if I'm here to cause trouble or not. "Come on in," he finally says. I step into the apartment and stride over to the window to look out. "Give me a minute," he says behind me. "I've got company."

Knock Knock. Daphne and Alison were awoken by the sounds of someone gently knocking on the door. Both of the girls were at first unwilling to open their eyes afraid the night before was nothing more then a beautiful dream. Alison cringed slowly opening a single eye, her eye's immediately shot open and she happily let out an excited squeak before bouncing out of the bed. "I'm coming!" She called out practically floating to the door.

Knock. The knock was abrupt, insistent, shattering the peaceful bubble Dan's phone call had wrapped around. Three sharp raps on the solid library door. My eyes flashed open. Reflexively, the smile still on my lips, I pushed back from the bookcase. The afterglow of Dan's words, the precarious sense of calm, propelled me forward on the faded Persian rug. My hand, almost by itself, felt for the cold brass doorknob. Maybe it's one of the workers with a question, I thought.

Knock knock knock I don't answer the door, I'm too tired to move Knock Knock knock I still don't move I hear my door open and I know automatically who it is because of his smell. "Athena" he whispers I don't answer I just hug myself tighter, I hear him close the door and come to my bed and sit down, I can feel his stare on me but I don't look at him or even speak. He just sighs and begins to speak

KNOCK … KNOCK With my thumping heart, I finally braced myself to open the door, this time I won’t let Derek manipulate me, nor, I would lose my senses now. I’ll be strong and fight with him head-on. BAM … BAM The next knock was more like banging which instantly crushed all my confidence. Taking a deep breath, I finally headed for the door and then unlocked it. CLICK “Why did you take so long??” With a makeup box in his hand, Kim groaned unhappily.

"You expect me to be fooled by you again, Brenda? I won't agree to your deceptive ways..." A burly man wielding a baton stood behind Daniel as he swayed and his eyes rolled back before he collapsed onto the floor. Brenda's gaze pierced the man as she spoke in a cold tone, "Why did it take you so long?" The man who had knocked out Daniel scratched his head in silence before saying, "Take him upstairs. He has to sleep with that bitch!"

******* *knock* *knock* *knock* *knock * I was still in deep sleep my eyes barely opened when I heard that someone was knocking hard on my bed room's door. But I was too tired to open the door so I covered my ears from the pillow and pulled the blanket back on me. I shouldn't have to stay at the party the whole night, I knew it, the hangover will take me. I won't do that mistake again but I need sleep. *knock* *knock*

I cried until my throat hurt and my eyes burned. After what felt like forever, I wiped my face and forced myself to stand. My hands were still shaking when I picked up my phone. I stared at Damien’s contact for a long time. My thumb hovered over the screen. This was dangerous. Reckless. Maybe even stupid. But I needed to see him. I needed something real. I typed the message quickly before I could change my mind. “Can we meet tonight at my home? I need to talk. Eight o’clock.”

He was wearing his grim reaper cloack and a formal attire underneath. Shane's ears burned bright red while staring at Mara's mismatched eyes. He secretly pinched himself. "Knock! Knock!" He said and Mara chuckled. "Who's there?" She said. She knows about this modern joke. Shane's face burned brighter. He didn't mean it as a joke. He flicked Mara's forehead and then leaned closer to her. "It's Death, on your doorstep," He said and then planted a kiss on her forehead. "It's Death, on your doorstep, who?" Mara asked.
