*Knock Knock Knock* This time my head shoots off the pillow and I startle Remi awake with me. “What’s wrong? Are you ok?” he asks as he looks around in defensive mode. *Knock knock* He glances at me confused. “Who is here at…. 630am?” he asks as he checks his phone. “I have no idea.” I answer,, genuinely confused as well. “Want me to answer?” he asks and I debate it. “I’ll do it.” I decide in case its my sister or something. I slip out of bed, finding some leggings and grabbing Remi’s button up he was wearing yesterday slipping both on me.

And when the sun comes up the next morning— KNOCK. KNOCK. KNOCK. Someone’s at the door.

*knock* *knock* Before Theo could say a knock on the door disturbed them. A maid walked in and informed them that Mrs. Wright is waiting for them downstairs. Theo recall that he has to drop his mother home because he remember sending her driver to the residence. Theo excused first after the maid leave the room. Meanwhile, tears slide down Ira's eyes as she tried to brace herself for the future. After all, there is no going back now.

Knock knock Someone knocked on Adriel's door and he looked up sharply. "Come in", he said expectantly. "Hey yo!", Omar announced as he walked into Adriel's office. Adriel's expression fell. "Omar, what are you doing here?", Adriel asked. "Are you hearing yourself? Since when do I need a reason to come see you?", Omar asked as he walked towards one of the sofas in the office. "Why did you knock?", Adriel asked.

Lucy's pov; Someone knocked on the door, waking me up. I brushed my eyes as I got up. Wait, who's knocking on my door? Nobody knows where I live. So who could it be? I put on my clothes and looked through the hole before opening the door. This is Daniel. How did he find this place? I opened the door and asked, "How do you know where I live? Are you following me?" He walked in like he owned the place. I closed the door and said, "I asked you a question, sir."

Because no one knocks like that. No one knocks in a damn theme tune. Only Theo. I don’t move. I don’t breathe. The sound keeps coming, a constant, rhythmic knock that fills the space louder than any scream. And for the first time since I stepped through the door, I feel something other than fear. I feel hope.

*** *knock**knock**knock* The continuous knocking on my door doesn’t stop, for a moment I decide to ignore it until the person goes away, but the knocking doesn’t stop; each knock being louder than the last one. Who could be knocking at this hour of the night, it’s 2am in the morning, shouldn’t this person be sleeping.
