Kokichis Day At The Zoo Novels & Stories

**Zoe** The following week seemed to drag on, probably because I was looking forward to my date with Elijah. Elijah was able to schedule me an appointment with a chiropractor on Monday. I walked in slightly hunched over and left feeling like I had a brand new body. I cringed at the sounds that came from my body as she adjusted me. She confirmed that I fucked something up when I fell off the horse but promised to have me in tip-top shape before I left. I was so jovial and thankful that I could bend over and touch my toes again that I immediately left her office and went to work, where I found Elijah in his office taking a quick lunch.

Adam playfully rolled his eyes, making Quin and me laugh. "What's one of your favourite memories, Quin?" I asked as I took the mixed batter from Quin and started pouring it into the baking trays. "Hmmm... I have a lot. But this one time, my mommy took me to the zoo! We saw so many animals." Quin smiled at the memory. "And a monkey even took peanuts out of my hand! You should have seen the baby monkeys. They were so cute." Her mom sounded wonderful. I wished I had the honour of meeting her.

The little boy cries to go to the zoo. The weather is fine, so Nina Morrison smiles and nods, "Okay, let's go to the zoo. We will see the big lion!" The driver Martin follows Nina Morrison and Nelson, "Miss Morrison, the road to the zoo is very busy on weekends. You need to be prepared." Nina Morrison is about to say it's ok, when an idea comes to mind. She smiles and asks Nelson, "Have you ever taken the subway, baby?" There is a subway next to the zoo, which is very convenient from Gray Family. They just need Martin to drop them off at the subway entrance. Little Nelson's eyes light up, "No! Auntie, are you taking me to the zoo by subway?"

"The weather is gorgeous, and Grav and I have been wanting to check out Central Park Zoo. They have a cheetah exhibit. Grav is obsessed with cheetahs." "They're my favorite!" I slapped my hands together with glee. "Uncle Tucker, I didn't know cheetahs didn't roar. They meow! Like kitties!" I formed my plump fingers into claws. "Hmm." Tucker looked between us distractedly, adjusting his nice shirt. "Kinda hot outside, no? Wasn't looking forward to getting sweaty."

"You ready?" I breathed in slowly so my voice wouldn't break. "Yes, I'm ready." "Herman, call Ray and have him pick you up a mile from the zoo. The two of you wait to hear from me, Sander, or Molly. Got it?" "Yes, boss." Herman made his call as he drove. My mind drifted to thoughts of my trip to the zoo with Leo's mom. I had a great time and remembered petting the goats and feeding the geese. One of them bit me and I cried. Marcy kissed it and made it all better. I wiped a tear from my cheek. Brack leaned over and kissed where I wiped. He threaded his large fingers through mine. His warm hand settled my nerves. Herman stopped the car and got out. I jumped in the front passenger seat and Brac

She rolled her eyes and paid for our cotton candy and walked further into the zoo. I loved seeing gorillas, after watching baby's day out, I loved their nature. They were all dark and hairy, super hairy, the young gorillas and monkeys were cute, very cute. So also the Koalas that were asleep. They were very cute also. I admired the beauty of tigers, especially baby ones, they were so cute I could eat them. The mighty lions, Mufasa. I was a big fan of lion king. I still am. Their cubs were the cutest things ever. No one was going to tell me that Simba wasn't cute. They had a pretty tiny waist, so girly.

After a week of hectic schedules and missed opportunities, he finally seized the chance to bring everyone together for a memorable day out. One sunny Saturday morning, Jason showed up in the house, excitement dancing in his eyes. “How about we spend the day at the zoo?” he suggested, his voice bubbling with enthusiasm. Skylar’s face fell at the suggestion, but she was quick to remind herself that the kids needed this and she couldn’tkeep them locked inside forever. Her face lit up with a smile. “That sounds like a fantastic idea! What do you think, kids?” she asked, turning to Jared, Lorenzo, and Valentina.

Adults were playing with the child-sized plastic peep hole, popping their heads up into a bubble in the middle of a prairie dog town. "I still can't believe you Iowa folks think this counts as a zoo exhibit," Marissa said shaking her head as she peered into the prairie dog exhibit. "Seriously, back home, those things are freaking everywhere." "Yeah, yeah, Ms. New Mexico, but they aren't here. At least I've never seen them," Allie replied. It was a zoo tradition for the three of us to stand here and say these lines. It was comforting to hear them sound exactly the same, like nothing had ever changed.

I held him close Sam and Sophia had decided to take their son, Storm, to the zoo, a week ago, and the day finally arrived. A sense of excitement filled the air. All of the kids, including those from Xanthea, wanted to join in on the fun. They stood quietly in the spacious lobby waiting for the limos, their faces filled with mild anticipation, as they waited to start their adventure together.

He also seemed confused. "The director must be insane!" Grayson exclaimed. Then, the staff loudly announced the punishment. "As the last group to complete today's challenge, you will be assigned the punishment task by the production team. You have to brush the teeth of the crocodiles at the zoo!" In nature, all living things had a symbiotic relationship and coexisted harmoniously. Animals like crocodiles had birds that cleaned their mouths in the wild. But in the zoo, regular cleaning by humans was necessary to ensure the health of their teeth.
