“Where are we?

“You know, Lolo, that’s not what I mean. Hindi naman po ako nagkukulang sa pera.” “Ano?! Ngumiti si Lolo Cristobal na parang nagtagumpay“Did you know you can play chess? It’s still early. How about we play a game, apo?”

Ang breakfast for today is Bacon and Sunny-side up egg, tsaka fried rice. Noah took a sip of his red wine and asked, “How are the classes with Deborah going.” Lola sighed and took her empty plate to the kitchen, “Ow amazing. It is great fun. Today I learned all the duties of being a Luna. Which basically comes down to being a housewife from 1950. All that is missing is a nice petticoat. But I am sure Deborah will fix that because today she told me she admires that I don’t care what I look like. ” Noah tried to hold in his laugh but then his face became serious, “You did listen apparently does that mean you are interested in becoming a Luna?”

Jonas invited. "Sure," he nodded. We gathered around the table. Everyone was here. They put all the menus on the big table including Honey's "special dinuguan". "Day, you make some sauce," Lola Helena said. "H-Huh?" I was stupified. "Slice two onions and put some soy sauce and oyster sauce," she explained. "Okay." I cut two onions. Just few seconds passed when my eyes felt sore and tears formed in it. I stepped back and looked up. I closed my eyes tight and let my eyes shed tears.

"I want...Jollibee. Steak and spaghetti, Mommy..." I sighed. She may be referring to the seafood that's called 'lukot' here. It's actually yummy. Indira's just not used to seeing seafood that she isn't really familiar to her. It is called 'Lukot' here, since the island is part of the Visayan region. I don't know what it's called in other places, but it's seriously delicious. I have eaten it a lot of times already. And it's not a dirt nor a feces.

She dropped off her bag and the fruits she had bought for Maria in the living room, then trusted her nose to lead her to wherever the sweet aroma she had perceived was coming from, and sure enough, Maria was taking out the pie from the oven and dusting off the gloves in her hand.

Lola didn't understand, "you used to stuff it into my mouth before, why aren't you feeding me now?" She gestured in the air, a large chunk, and didn't understand, "Why aren't you feeding me?
