Golden Luna

Golden Luna

CHAPTER ONE The full moon that night was unusually bright. I couldn't remember the last time I'd ever seen it shine that brightly, but I did remember sitting at the raised pedestal with my family and my friends, where I was supposed to be eating and celebrating, but all I did was look glum. The moon was supposed to be a warning, but I missed it. My father caught me staring up at the moon curiously and I heard him give a low chuckle beside me. "You think it's unusual, don't you, daughter?"

she said and winked at me. “Hello, Sienna.” I smiled. “We are going to the diner to eat something. Do you want to go with us?” “Sure.” she said and smiled brightly. Sienna would be a good mate. She was smart, pretty, and kind. And she was a good fuck, I had to admit. She would be a great Luna. When we got close to the diner, I was hit by the most amazing smell. Strawberries and watermelon. Emma. She was inside.

Really great story! Read it twice! But I could really do without the constantly "love" and "baby" aaaall the time. It's kind of weird that her brother calls her "love". For me that's what your "mate" should call you, just not constantly hehe. But, that's just me. Still as mentioned, great story! :)

The Ruthless Billionaire and His Sassy Surrogate

She washed up and left her bedroom in a towel. She perceived the aroma of something sweet. She trailed it and saw some meal spread on the kitchen island. “You made all of these?” Penelope asked in surprise. “Good morning, fire cracker.” Lola greeted with a grin. “And… No, silly. I can’t cook to save my life. I ordered these in.” She said, grimacing playfully. Penelope shook her head. “We can’t eat take outs for the rest of our lives.” “Well… Unless you can cook.” Lola suggested.

he says as he sits up. Lola is the pack’s Luna. When she’s less busy, she often spends time in the house, comes by to cook for the house and play with my six year old daughter. I didn’t have a problem with that until the rumors that she spread about her and me in a relationship got back to me and got on the wrong side of my nerves.

Her eyes darting around the place taking note of all the doors even though she didn't know where they led to. A maid served her pancakes with a generous amount of syrup. Lola frowned when she saw the plastic cutlery. "Don't want you stabbing anyone now do we?" Diego mocked. Lola wasn't sure whether to eat or not she was hungry but she had no assurance that her food wasn't poisoned.

Anything For Lola

Anything For Lola

Lola - on Sunday the 30th These three weeks at the Villa have been fantastic despite the reason for being here. Gio even let me cook last night. I had to be extra convincing, though, reminding him he let Damien cook. “So a Guard gets to defile your kitchen, but I can’t?” I pout, being sarcastic. “You, Miss Lola, are asking for it,” Gio shakes his head. “Yes, I am. I’m asking to cook.” Grinning, Gio smacked my behind for being a brat. But I won in the end. I made Carne Guisada meat pies with charro beans, rice, and bacon-wrapped chorizo-stuffed jalapenos. And a Flan for dessert.

Tsaka juice, pomelo." Iniabot ko sakanya ang bayad.

Pertanyaan yang Sering Diajukan

Cora’s journey in 'Cora Cooks Pancit' is such a heartwarming tale! She starts off as this eager little kid who desperately wants to help in the kitchen, but her family always assigns her the 'baby jobs' like stirring or setting the table. One day, her mom finally lets her take the lead in cooking pancit, a beloved Filipino noodle dish. The moment Cora gets to handle real ingredients—chopping veggies, sautéing garlic—you can feel her pride bursting through the pages. It’s not just about cooking; it’s about her family trusting her with something meaningful. The way the story blends cultural tradition with a child’s growing independence is pure magic. By the end, Cora’s not just a helper; she’s a cook in her own right, and that pancit becomes a symbol of her coming into her own.

What really gets me is how relatable this is for anyone who’s ever felt 'too small' to contribute. The illustrations capture Cora’s expressions perfectly—her determination, her nervousness, her joy. And the pancit? It’s practically a character itself, weaving the family’s heritage into every bite. This book isn’t just a story; it’s a celebration of family, food, and those little milestones that feel huge when you’re a kid.
