Chapter 83 Luca POV The clash of steel and roar of battle filled the crisp morning air as our warriors met the enemy head-on. Every heartbeat thundered in my ears, adrenaline sharpening my senses. The ground beneath our feet was churned with mud and blood. Arrows darkened the sky, some finding flesh, others embedding into tree trunks. I moved through the fray like a shadow, shouting commands, rallying those who faltered, bolstering the tired and wounded. My sword sang as it met enemy blades, each strike fueled by a fierce resolve to protect what was mine.

--- Kira and ten Forgotten fighters smashed through the weak side barrier— motorcycles screaming, trucks ramming, guns firing. Chaos exploded. --- Bullets tore through the air. Men shouted. Tires screeched. --- Kael shifted—half-wolf—claws ripping free. He lunged, dropping the nearest guard hard. Liora hit the ground behind the car just like he told her. --- Kira’s voice cut through the noise. “Get the girl! Go!” --- Kael carved a path toward Vortigern. Claws slashed. Fangs snapped. Two guards fell bleeding.

Guerra smirked, looking directly into Jun's raised up face. Jun suddenly growled, throwing away two of Guerra's friends that were holding her side by side, "Now, I am standing up for myself and you can't bully me anymore!" She gave another deep growl, her eyes flickered to her wolf's which shocked the hell out of Guerra that she fell to the floor - when did she have a wolf?

A spur of both adrenaline and anger probably. "How do you like that, Guillermo?" I asked. "You gonna let a chica beat you like that?" he asked the man practically shaking with the gun at his head. "Don't be such as pucha." "Ella podría matarme Guillermo," he replied in a high pitched voice. I haven't done Spanish since high school so I honestly had no idea what he said but Guillermo rolled his eyes. "Hey bitch," he said looking at me. "Show us your tits and we'll let you go no trouble."

"Cap, here, she's a fighter." I smile. Persephone wipes her tears away and turns to face Ghost but has her head tuck, not looking at him in the eyes. "W-will, she b-be o-okay?" "Cap is a beast," Gunner shouted from the front as his voice made the child cringe. "Gunner, you ass! Ow! Gentle!" I hiss at the alcohol being pressed on my skin. With that tingling feeling, I clenched my fist, trying to endure the pain.

The words landed hard. Because she already knew they were true. Now that she had seen Guerero fight with her own eyes, she could no longer lie to herself. Then suddenly, Guerero saw Genaro. And something inside him snapped. His eyes turned wild instantly. No strategy. No caution. Just rage. He charged straight at Genaro. Danika barely had time to react. Guerero slammed into her shoulder as he rushed forward, throwing her violently aside. She crashed hard against the ground.

He brings it on himself just by breathing in my direction. ‘I won’t stop till I knock your fucking head off, you wanker. I hope I break your nose or your teeth. I hope I take out an eye!’ It’s juvenile, but damn it feels like being alive again and despite my feverish head and rather crazed erratic mood, I am actually fighting for once. Camilla is still in me. She isn’t dead! She has just been hibernating. Mico walks at me from his side, palms raised as he tries to get past me to his cousin as a shield and I pause when I realise he is aiming for Alexi not me.

The other animals stopped running; their confidence boosted as they joined in the fight. It seemed their power couldn’t match mine any longer. Suddenly, the loud sound of gunfire echoed through the lonely bush. A deep scream erupted...it was a voice I knew all too well. It was the voice of my best friend, the one who had always protected me since I first became aware of my existence. “Valera, save me…” he spoke in a language only I could understand. I turned my head and ran toward the direction of his voice. I saw my friend lying in a pool of his own blood.

Nay Aurelia was cut off when Guia jumped hahaha. "Yes, yes, this is it." Shocked by Guia's promise, he sat down. But because of his sudden sitting, he didn't realize that there was a sharp stone on his seat, so he got stabbed in the butt hahaha. When I looked at it, Guia started crying and looked at me with anger mixed in. hahaha. "SALAVATION: HEALING TOUCH!" Guia shouted as he called on his power that heals injuries. He touched her ass and then it straightened up and started to close its eyes.
