It was crumpled, damp with her own sweat, but she held it against her heart. She looked at the monitors. The "Stalkers" were moving in the tree line. "Mommy's coming, Leo," she whispered to the empty room. "And god help anyone who tries to stop us from reaching the fire." Inside his room, Leo sat on the floor, surrounded by his own small pile of 'research'—diagrams of the volcano he'd stolen from Kael’s tablet. He held the first fragment in his palm, his skin glowing with a faint, golden light.

He raised his eyebrows, pushed the model with his right arm out of the pool, then stretched his arms around her and said to her at a close distance, “Help me keep it. I'll find you when I need it.” When Abbi Miller heard this, she blushed and hid in his arms as she looked at me and said, “Don't do this. She is still here watching.” ‘These rats!' I couldn't help but curse in my heart. “Who do you mean? The woman who is going to be my ex-wife? Don't worry about her. “Definitely, baby." As they danced and the crowd cheered them on, Leo tried to put his mind in one place. He has a different future now, it's best to focus on what he has than something he might never even get to reach. He can only hope to survive what is to come and try his best to be happy.

Robby looked to Leo, “Besides this, find anyone yet?” Leo laughed, “Even finding your dad dead, you still think with your cock.” Rob grabbed Leo by the collar growling. Leo didn’t look fazed, “Easy pup, you may be younger than me, but I can still whoop your ass.” Rob let him go, looking ashamed. Leo smirked, “Still want to know?” Rob shrugged, “I just need something to distract my mind.” “Of course. I have a quick fix for you now. There may be a regular girl soon, but that won’t be for another week. I’m testing her out.”

“Just give him the fruit for now, Mrs. Gable. I’ll bring him home some roast beef tonight. Thank you.” Leo was three and a half but he was already tracking objects across the room before they fell. His hearing was so acute I had to white-noise his bedroom at night so the city traffic wouldn't keep him awake. He was growing too fast, his muscles dense and lean. The Lycan genes were dominant, fighting against the human facade I was desperately trying to paint over him. I had to keep climbing, I needed to make partner, I needed the executive health insurance and the private security funds.

She stretched her back to ease the tension she felt on her lumbar area. When she saw that Leo and Rich were no longer occupied, she requested them to do a test integration with the codes she wrote. Their initial test failed and spat a lot of errors. She worked on correcting each one of them. Once finished, she asked Rich to run the program. Leo had just excused himself because he needed to hop on another meeting. Rich ran the codes. It failed again and gave out errors. Her brows furrowed because the errors she got were identical to the first one.
