My Marked Luna

My Marked Luna

I pick it up; it's written in italic font. ' Good morning, Apphia. I had a lovely time with you yesterday. You only deserve the best, " I smile and carry the half-bloomed lotus to my nose. It smells amazing. I read the title of the new novel, Little Women. I've never read it before. The door opens, and Lily comes in, carrying a tray of dishes in her hands. She smiles at me, " Good morning, Apphia, you look luminous this morning."

The Awakening

The Awakening

She had pictured a creepy, middle-aged lady donning a headdress, telling Sera to gaze into her crystal ball. Above the store counter, holding a cash register that looks like the first one ever invented, sits a painting that grabs Sera's attention. It's a simple painting, midnight blue with one perfect circular moon in the center. Breaking her train of thought, the beads rattle as a woman passes through and walks behind the counter. She doesn't pay Sera any mind, and she digs below for something. When she finally pulls out an embroidered shawl, the woman wraps it around her tall, slender frame. Sera watches as her back straightens, shoulders tensing slightly. Their eyes meet, Sera feels herse

The Prince's Rebound

"No, I... It was fine. And you can call my by my name, it's—" "I will not," The woman snapped, completely shocked. "You are the Prince's fiancee and you would be treated with the same respect you deserve." Oh, she had nearly forgotten about it. Still, she didn't like the term, but she guessed she'd have to get used to it. "A-Alright," "My name is Vanessa Hudgens," The lady said, face with obvious pride. "I was designated as your lady-in-waiting." "What's a lady-in-waiting?"

YOU WAITED

YOU WAITED

I don't even wait for him to say anything, but leave with his food as my mind replays his words. Waiting for me. That's what jumps in my head, whilst waiting for the microwave. Those three magical words, it should have been me saying those words not him. I'm usually the one waiting for him, waiting for him to come home, waiting for him to notice me, waiting for him to tell me that he lo - no, I won't go that far. The point is, I'm shocked yet my chest warms at his actions. Him waiting for me like how I'd done so many times, when he returned home late.

Be prepared for different levels of emotion. Interesting storyline that will have you crying at times. There’s also some humor. However, the book has grammatical errors that needs to be edited. Love the ending - very different, but good.

I really loved this story. so many twists, it was confusing especially when Keith asked for a divorce he didn't really want because he loved her so much and rescued her. It had a very happy ending. So worth reading.

Help! I don't want to be the female lead

Help! I don't want to be the female lead

the maid asked while her eyes were filled with adoration towards the small child. "What's your name?" Seraphine asked— her voice being little incoherent. "Lady Seraphine, did you forget my name again? It's Betty," the maid voiced out, "Lord Lyle and Lord Clayton was looking for you to play with them earlier. Let's go to them." All those names caused something to click within her. The name of a certain novel came inside of her mind— The Lady's Possessive Prince— and thinking about it, she found it funny how she had to dream about the novel now.

The Billionaire Waitress

The Billionaire Waitress

I heard a woman at table five hiss to her friend. I gripped my tray so hard my knuckles ached, my heart pounding like a drum. She wasn’t just a headline or an I*******m story from her latest Greece getaway, all sun-kissed selfies and #EmpireBuilding bullshit. Up close, her aura was fucking suffocating—poised, glamorous, born to own the room. She settled at the corner table by the window, the one with the best view of the avenue, and scrolled her phone, her nude-painted nails glinting under the chandelier light. I dodged her section like it was a fucking minefield, darting between tables to refill waters and clear plates, but my eyes betrayed me, flicking to her every few minutes. She sipped

Godfather's Adorable Sexuplets

Godfather's Adorable Sexuplets

Lady Mary and the other maids followed Anna up the stairs to Ace's room. "Just drop the tray and head back outside," Lady Mary instructed once they arrived at the door. The first maid entered, followed by the second, and then Anna. They all dropped their trays and were about to leave when Ace asked, "Who is waiting?" Lady Mary rushed into the room. "Padrino, I'll wait," she replied. "No, you are needed back there to ensure that everything runs smoothly," Padrino instructed, and Lady Mary bowed in agreement. "Yes, Padrino." "You stay," Lady Mary ordered Anna. "No mistakes," she added before leaving with the other maids. Anna swallowed and walked to the door to stand. Should I stand outside th

Falling for My Enemy Alpha

Falling for My Enemy Alpha

The change was suspicious, and I must be weary of the new game Alpha Orvyn was trying to play with me. "Who are you?" I asked. She dropped the tray on a food. "I'm Emilia, your Lady in waiting. I'll be here to attend all your needs and carry out all your obligations as you wish." She bowed her head slightly. "I don't need anyone to wait on me." I tore my gaze away from her, focusing my attention on the moonless sky and the velvety dark cloud. "I've faired without one for more than a week now. You may leave."
