"We need them gone." She nods in understanding. "Gails and Devon are coming with Travis and this," She pauses and flashes me a devilish smile, "is Radiance." Damn, she noticed the way I looked at her. Radiance is beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. Her hair is long and flowing; a fierce color of orange/red. Her tail matches her hair perfectly. A bright orange tail with the tips of her fins are a beautiful ruby red. She has big, round, emerald green eyes surrounded by thick eye lashes. She shyly smiles a small smile to me and then darts her eyes down. Clearly humbled to be in my presence. "Thank you for assisting us today Radiance. I apologize for it being so early in the morning." I respectfull

She laughed, "Okay. I will leave them alone." Damien and I got in the Hummer with Ely and Eivin and we left for the airport. Once we were in the air, I asked Damien why they want us there. I didn't think we could offer much help. He replied, "They know you are good at uniting species. They want to ally with the mermaids." I smiled, "Sweet! We could do the same!" He agreed, "The Queen of the Mermaids lives in one of the lakes in Nebraska." I furrowed my brows, "Really? I would've thought she lived in the ocean or the sea?" He shook his head, "Nope. This lake is her childhood home, so this is where she feels most comfortable." I smiled, "That is so cool."

The water is flowing from a big pile of rock at the end of the pool, which looks like a small smooth streaming waterfall. While in the center of the spring is a life-size pallid lotus, and bordering near the sides are minimum size buds that has not yet bloomed. In front of the spring, standing and waiting, is a beautiful red-head mermaid with a pair of pretty jade green eyes. Her pale skin shines like a priceless pearl in the snow, her pinkish lips is perfectly shaped, and her viridian emerald earrings looked gorgeous in her fading green fin ears. She's wearing a delicate light blue gown and on top of her wavy cherry red hair seated a crown of golden pearls.

Sure enough, after the fishes noticed she wouldn’t be coming out, they teleported and reappeared at the other side of the skeleton pile and started chasing the mermaid. Lavana saw how fast they were. She immediately increased her speed and launched ice chains at them whenever she could even though she knew they won’t last long. At least the chains served the purpose of slowing them down a bit but not by much. At a point, she decided that if she continued like this, she would run out of strength without reaching the cave’s end. She just focused on swimming even faster and the fishes followed suit. 30 minutes later.

The look of a woman who had raised him and knew the difference between a man who was fine and a man who needed the room emptied. Come Liyana, Aunty Miriam said. Gently. Not making anything of it. “Bath time.or you will become a fish.” “I am a MERMAID.” “Mermaids also bathe.” Liyana considered this from several angles. Decided it was plausible. She climbed out without further argument and disappeared through the garden door trailing water and commentary. Raina followed without being asked. The garden went quiet. He stayed in the water. The sun had moved. The light was different now. The window above the pool — empty. Curtain open. Glass catching the afternoon.

She lifted her green tail with specks of purple scales and slammed it hard against the rocks, making some of it break off into the sea. "Why have you come here?" She asked. That was when they noticed her teeth. They looked like shark teeth, triangular, sharp and deadly. "We're just trying to locate Mystic Mountain," Lazarus answered. "Do you know where we can find it?" The mermaid glanced at each of their faces, tilting her head from side to side. She blinked when her gaze stopped on Miranda. Her pupils dilated and were star-shaped instead of a circle. "Such a handsome boy. I bet he's fun to play with."

I inquired, scanning the surroundings with a critical eye. My gaze landed on a pool at the far end of the building. It was an eyesore, overgrown with weeds and teeming with dirt. I almost turned away, repelled by the neglect, until I spotted a figure within the pool. A closer look revealed it to be a mermaid. “What’s her name?” I gestured towards the murky pool. A scoff rippled through the mermaids below, hidden beneath feigned annoyance. Yet, the green-tailed mermaid, who tried to seduce me earlier, dared to scoff without restraint. I seized her throat, my grip unyielding.

Liam joked he just makes the woman laugh. "Asus! I can take you with me ... Don't mention Lyzander's name because I'm just annoyed," she replied calmly to Liam. She didn't want to hear Lyzander's name as much. "Wow, the water is nice oh. You can see the bottom of the water ...look at the corals they're so lovely and it looks fascinating when a group of fishes flashes as they cross and pass the colorful corals. It's like I want to be a mermaid. So mermaids are true, Liam for you do they exist?" she said in amazement. She changes the subject so they don't talk about Lysander anymore.

Marie’s POV After being knocked unconscious by Jason and the damn silver whip, I found myself beside a lake. This place looked like something off a postcard. I remembered Angel telling me about her visit to the moon goddess and speaking of the beautiful water surrounding the bright green grass. As I turned around sure enough there she was. Selena, Angel’s grandmother, and our Moon Goddess. “Hello Marie, I’m guessing you know who I am judging by the way you are looking at me.” She spoke in such a soft tone, yet I could feel the power she possessed rolling off her. “Do you know why I have called you here?”
