There was something ethereal about it, almost calling me, beckoning me deeper into the labyrinth of the mansion.
I turned a corner, and there it was—a small water body, shimmering with a soft, unnatural glow. The blue light was brighter now, swirling above the water like some kind of living energy, a pulse that seemed to come from the depths of the water itself. And then, there she was.
