Revenge of the Hideous Lady

Revenge of the Hideous Lady

When Xyla returned to the bedroom, she saw that Stanley Batton was also not asleep yet. Right then, Stanley was sitting at the head of the bed. A laptop of the newest, ultra-thin, model was placed on top of his legs. All the lights in the room were switched off. There was only a single, dimly lit bedside lamp next to him. The soft blue light from the laptop shone against his face, making his facial features appear unusually cold and rigid. Stanley wore black silk loungewear that gave off a noble yet cold reflection under the light. His presence felt extraordinarily cold.

Shifa Shaikh
The storyline is too good to be true! I love all the leads and emotions are shown very clearly... but nowadays, it looks like story is still dragged out... same drama, same praises, same scandals... either this should end on a good note or may be Author should change the perspective.
Peachy Barbadillo
a lot is going on with the story and I feel like Stanley was being left behind in this story...I think y should focus more on the two main character...where is Stanley's point of view when xyla were being attack and bullied..that's all but great story though but decided to drop it...

Billionaire’s Pretend Wife To Be

Billionaire’s Pretend Wife To Be

Alessandro immediately crouched down, positioning the stool perfectly for her. Clara squinted into the eyepiece. She didn't gasp at the sheer volume of stars; she simply stared, processing. “Papa,” she whispered, her voice tiny and awestruck. “Are the stars like little lamps that people turn on when they go to sleep?” “They are, in a way, my love,” Alessandro answered, his hand resting gently on her back. “They’re very bright lamps. Do you see all the little, tiny ones that are blue?”

Vixen Stories

Vixen Stories

So manly and sexy as fuck. "So,” he licked his lower lip and motioned me to the bed. I take my eyes off him to go walk to the bed, putting my shoulder bag on it. The bed is large, and for sure we can fit on it; we can even peacefully sleep on this bed without us touching. The rain continues to pour down, just as the thunder and lightning. Since the electricity has no power for tonight, the only light that we have here in his bedroom is a small candle and a piece of a flashlight.

Rule Number One: My Brother's Best Friend

Rule Number One: My Brother's Best Friend

And collapsing backwards on the bed, I gazed up at the haphazard constellation dotted across the ceiling and heaved an exhausted but ecstatic sigh. I'd bought the pack of tiny adhesive luminescent stars for him after seeing the newly renovated flat for the first time. They'd seemed the obvious finishing touch for his bedroom, painted as it was in shades of blue and indigo but I'd never seen them from this angle before. Despite spending more hours with him than I could remember, I'd never spent the night in his bed. When I'd stayed over, it had always been in the spare room. Not tonight, though. No, tonight I'd join the ranks of women who'd lain beneath these stars.

The Mafia's mistress (His temptation)

The Mafia's mistress (His temptation)

She was his light in the midst of his darkness, the one person who had the power to ease his restless mind. He gently pushed open the door to their bedroom and stepped inside. The soft glow of the bedside lamp illuminated the room, casting a warm light over Aurora as she lay sound asleep on the bed. Their baby was nestled beside her, wrapped snugly in a soft blanket, her tiny chest rising and falling with each breath.

Decimated

So, most nights we cannot be bothered to attempt anything but sleeping in the same room. “Goodnight, I love you too Pops.” And with that, I opened my door and stepped into my dark bedroom, closing the door gently behind me. I had drawn the curtains before going down to dinner so the only moon light that forced its way through was the tiny slithers around the edges, not enough to light the room. Using my enhanced sight, I walked over to one side of my bed where there stood a simple white gloss nightstand with only a basic lamp on, I am a bit of a minimalist. I faintly heard Pops doing the same in the room next to my own.

Sweet Marriage: Dear Lady, You're Mine

Sweet Marriage: Dear Lady, You're Mine

Oreo looked at her frigidly, then withdrew his gaze and looked at the big chandelier hanging in the center of the room. As the children were sleeping, and it was daytime, the curtains were open but the lights were not turned on. He looked at the chandelier curiously, as if he was wondering what it was. Tianna followed his gaze and pointed at the chandelier with her pudgy fingers, "That's a lamp! A lamp!" He looked back at her in confusion. He opened his mouth, but only gibberish came out. Tianna frowned, "It's not whatever sound you're making, it's called a lamp! Lamp!"

Her Christmas Wish

Her Christmas Wish

The soft glow of the night-light filled the room with warmth, casting gentle shadows across walls covered in drawings, stickers, glitter projects, ticket stubs, and the growing collection of photographs Malaya insisted on hanging each month. Their little house wasn't fancy, but this room—this warm, bright space—was the safest haven Laila had ever created. It smelled faintly of cocoa butter, and the lavender spray Malaya insisted helped her sleep, and the quiet hum of the small heater made the entire space feel like a cocoon. "Okay, nugget," Laila murmured softly, adjusting the unicorn-print blanket around her daughter. "Time for bed. We have a long road trip ahead of us tomorrow. And you kno

The Carrero Heart (series book 2)

The Carrero Heart (series book 2)

I take it all in silently, overwhelmed with so much in one go and have to digest it slowly. My bed has been sectioned off with transparent fabrics hanging from the ceiling to create a faux four poster bed and is interlaced with tiny fairy lights. My window has met the same treatment and the whole room has been adorned with white flowers and lights and candles almost everywhere. On every surface to create an edge of blooms and soft lighting.
