It's almost 11pm. Inabot ko nalang ang switch ng bed lamp na nagbigay liwanag sa aking silid. Ngunit 'di pa din ako tumayo. Nanghihina pa ang buong katawan ko, 'di rin ako nagugutom. Kaya nagpasya na lamang akong ituloy ang pagpapahinga, umaasa na makakatulog na ako.

Lucas sighed deeply. Lucas promised that if Luna didn't improve by tonight, he would take her to the doctor in the morning. He closed his eyes next to Luna, eventually succumbing to the world of dreams. At the same time, the other lights in the room were extinguished, the nebulae patterns on the ceiling on top of them gradually fading until they finally disappeared and revealed the vast, never-ending night sky along with countless stars sparkling in its depths.

With Ryle leading the way, I followed. I looked with amazement at the plants that glowed in the dark, getting brighter as we got closer. Ryle said, sounding proud, "These are Green Starlights. It was hard to find them, but it's worth it. They show us that Night Lilies are nearby."

“We’re making the most of it, Em. That’s what matters.” Bedtime In Lily’s room, the soft glow of her bedside lamp illuminated the walls, covered with colorful drawings and posters. She was already tucked under her quilt when Emma and Thomas walked in, holding a familiar storybook. “Which one did you pick?” Thomas asked, sitting on the edge of her bed. “The one about the star that gets lost,” Lily said, holding up the book. “I like how the other stars help her find her way home.” Emma smiled, settling beside her. “That’s a good one. The bedroom light clicked on, flooding the small space with a gentle glow. The room was simple, almost spartan in its furnishings. A small bed stood against the wall, a nightstand with a lamp beside it, a modest dresser, and a narrow window overlooking the city lights outside. Through the glass, the distant buildings twinkled like scattered stars against the dark sky. Nothing luxurious. Nothing fancy. Just comfortable, a safe haven carved from what little they had. Nina pulled back the blanket and patted the mattress, the fabric soft from years of washing. "Alright, champ," she said with a grin, trying to inject some playfulness into the moment.

In a moment of rage, I seized the trophy from Cody and charged at Sydney like a madwoman. "AAH!" However, the trophy hit Cody's back instead. He pushed hard, and the trophy's sharp edge sliced across my face. Blood stained the carpet as the trophy fell to the floor. "Jenny, have you lost your mind?" In his blind spot, Sydney shook a remote control at me. It was a remote control for a bomb! There were only three minutes left on the countdown! She took out a handkerchief to wipe away my blood, smiling provocatively and triumphantly at me. "Your mother is in the car outside, the same one that hit her and paralyzed her. I specifically bought it back."

My ears pick up light steps travelling towards my room hesitantly while I sleep. Or attempt to at this point. I'm tired mentally with all the work I've done and between Belle and my brother, my room is the only solace for peace. Otherwise I'd go stalking mad with her constant bickering. The curtains of my room are drawn blocking out the sunlight, apart from the lava lamp that blows on the bedside table the room is covered in darkness. Going back into the bed, I switched off the ambient pendant lights and closed my eyes to sleep with a smile on my face. Nothing could break me…..

Charles took his shirt off, “I have this habit of sleeping shirtless.” he chuckled. “No worries.” Dara uttered, “You can sleep on the bed with me.” she said. “I’m good here.” Dara held his hand and uttered, “Please Charles, I want you to sleep beside me on the bed.”
