He began backing toward the metal door, dragging me with him. “You’re going to let us walk out of here. Or she dies in front of you.” Rhea ignored him, taking a step forward. The Angel’s fingers tightened around the trigger. I gulped.

Haneul told his friend. "No, it's okay. I can handle this," LJ replied, bracing himself. There was no way he'd let Haneul get in there alone. The doors to the prison cell hummed as they opened, and the angels stepped onto the threshold, the doors immediately closing behind them. Axton to me, confused about the whole scenario, but not to me, his devious plans were as clear as day.
