I had known this for a long time. My eyelids felt so heavy. I was ready to go. I was so tired. Selena was crying loudly, but I couldn't comfort her anymore. On April 20th, I closed my eyes for the last time and slipped away.

Then we would be able to get our hands on the real culprit. “You’re just blindly in love with him,” he let out a sigh and spoke calmly for the first time--and also the last time--as he hung up the call. I remained in the bathroom, my hand in my hair, clutching it in a tight grasp. “No! Theo, you’re wrong. I know Sawyer won’t kill anyone again,” I finished, taking a deep breath and walking out of the bathroom. I put my phone down and slid closer to Sawyer, lifting his arm and wrapping it around me. I nodded off, hugging his arm tightly.

I saw them on their usual spot on the cafeteria, nervous but I'm much nervous for what might could have happen to Charlie. "Enzo" I called, all of their eyes turned to me. "Yes?" Enzo answered. "I just need to ask this, Charlie haven't been back since she came with you and earlier. You came back without her" Enzo frowned a bit. "She's not back yet?" He asked back, that made me more nervous. I shook my head, I'm already trembling. He stood up the same time my phone rang, I looked at it to see it was Jax. I nearly forgot about him. I immediately answered his call to ask for help.

He couldn't rest until she did. Not this time. The last thing she had ever said to him still rang in his ears, shadows of the life before. It had been decades since then, when he had watched her waste away in that bed too large for her starved, sick frame. She hadn't been able to speak toward the end, not one word...except to push him away one last time, damning him forever. "Leave me alone," she had breathed, half-wheezing as her lungs gave out. And that was it. She had faded, growing cold in his arms as he begged her to stay, to come back, to let him make things right again.
