“No, please, I beg you to believe me, Alpha Kaidën” **Two Weeks Earlier** “To the Honorable Members of the Mystic Pack, It is with great pleasure and reverence that we announce a momentous occasion in the history of our esteemed pack. Our revered Luna, Xylara, has been blessed with the miracle of life. She is expecting a child, an heir to the Mystic Pack's legacy.” I could hear the applause of the people too well and clearly. But instead of making me happy… It made me nauseous and disgusted. I lowered my gaze from the overly happy couple and made my way out of the crowd towards the forest. I just wanted to escape from this torturous situation.

Like her, they would get their wolves and maybe, if the Moon Goddess willed it, find their mates. Her mind settled on Damon, and her heart fluttered at the mere idea of him being her mate. But she quickly dismissed the thought, knowing it was just a foolish dream. She and Damon could never be mates. That would be a silly match from the Moon Goddess herself. A knock on her door got her attention, and she went to open it. She was surprised to see Luna Anita standing there with a mini chocolate cake in her hand, a big smile on her face. “Happy eighteenth birthday, Amara,” she said warmly, her voice filled with genuine affection.

He draws lightning from many sides. Most often he stands alone, and frequently not long." "I know the feeling well," Rolland said, with only the hint of a smile. He leaned closer, "Against Zaria, I doubt even a true alpha would last long. And then what?" She took up his hands . "Rolland, we must try. It is our only chance. If we don't take it, we have none." He sat up, pulling away from her. "Any person the Moon goddess picks would not know the Midlands. He would have no chance there. It would be a sentence of quick death."

Might as well live up to what she saw me as. After she left, I teleported myself to the eye of Irithra. I was on a mission there before I returned to check on the woman who never trusted me. The council asked me to get rid of the Irithra ruler, a ruthless half moonwalker, half demon, Zeyra Moon, since her reign was over. Torturing and killing her would help ease the stress I was feeling. “Let me ask you,” I sat across from Zeyra, who was being held still by my power in a partially lit room. “Have you ever loved someone?”

because I am no longer invisible. I stayed on the moon for a while. From up here, I saw Leena looking at the moon while smiling. Even though she can’t see me, I reciprocated her smile. I know she wishes to see me because I can hear her pleas. Leena is my sun. She will always be my light. She always brings lights to me, even though I should be the one to give her light. On the other side of Moondrous, I also saw Bryle looking up at the moon with a smile. He wishes to see me too. The feeling is mutual. I miss messing with Bryle even though he couldn’t see me before.

But for now, he needed to focus on the Luna and introduce some things to her. "Can we get back to today's work?" Layla asked after a prolonged silence, during which the two of them were lost in their thoughts. "Of course, yes. So, you take time to go through that, and I will point out some of the things that have changed. Our main focus today is the Luna's Creed. I heard you brought up the name." Layla flushed. "Yes, with Annabelle's help." Elijah ignored the mention of Annabelle. "Great, you have the mindset then. It must be in your blood. The Moon goddess is perfect in her doings."

, Leonora stated. Elio got up and went to get his wallet and his car keys. “Come, we’re going to the Oracle now.” Leonora nodded, her heart pounding with a mixture of fear and determination. She knew that the only one that they could seek guidance from was the Oracle. She was the only one who could shed light on their daughter’s fate and the mysterious prophecy that seemed to entwine her life with the Moonlit pack.

The crescent moon smiles down below. Ignorant of the world below. The stars glow, and the moon shines. A tear falls from your eye. The moon smiles a slim, thin grin. Now our story truly begins. Chapter Three: Secrets Revealed “Angelica, you need to calm down,” Astra called from her broom as she descended from the sky and jumped to the ground. Her broom collapsed into a pocket-sized hand broom. Angelica growled at Astra as she moved to a lunge to attack. Astra grabbed the broken necklace from the ground, and it turned into a magic lasso. She dodged Angelica’s attack as the lasso wrapped around angelicas neck, forming a new chain.

Please don't treat me so cruelly! Please! Please! I beg you! I prayed loudly and helplessly in my heart. Both of my tired eyes were bloodshot, but I dared not close them. However, Moon Goddess did not seem to hear my prayer. I saw it. Another strong black wolf suddenly burst out from behind the door and pounced my mother to the ground. Blood bloomed like a mandala flower before my eyes, and my mother's back was torn apart by him. She tried to resist, but her strength was as weak as a puppy when facing the strong black wolf.
