Coming Second to That Woman

Coming Second to That Woman

I bought the plane tickets a long time ago. With Lorelei cradled in one arm, I carried what little luggage I owned in the other and boarded the plane that would fly us out of the country. I had majored in AI technology at university, and now I was flying abroad to join my senior, Joshua Fretnik, and his team to start a new life. Before I left the country, I sent Vincent the divorce papers before blocking him on all platforms. I left the divorce proceedings in my lawyer's hands, telling her not to contact me unless my signature or presence was required.

After The Divorce

After The Divorce

“ Care, I just don't care about how they think I should leave my life” “ Dont I know it” I whisper. Laughing, “ I met your fiance, didn't you just get a divorced?” “ I don't have a fiance and lately I feel like my parents are doing things that keep irritating me” Leo slap me on the back and say “Good luck, im out of here” “ What? Why are you leaving already?” I ask him I was hoping he would've stay and I didn't have to be the focus tonight. “ I already got enough attention, now its your turn” he walkway without looking back, he sent me the peace sign over his head.

Cannot Wait For Him Turning Back

Cannot Wait For Him Turning Back

] [After mutual agreement, both parties consent to a divorce and have signed the following terms…] [Husband: Matthew Grant] [Wife: Whitney Langley] “So, you really do plan to leave me.” Matthew smiled, but his eyes got teary. He had thought about leaving many times. He never imagined that I would be the one to make the first move. He never expected to realize, too late, that the one who could not let go was him. Matthew grabbed the divorce agreement and turned around. He was going to Austraya to find me. He needed answers.

The Forgotten Marriage

The Forgotten Marriage

When we had only just met, I had no impression of Amelia because she practically blended into the background like she belonged there, and when she was finally out in the spotlight, she was still empty. But now, that same woman is saying words that are making me question a lot of things I thought. Why don’t I let go? Probably because I can not let my parents or society find out about the divorce until the time it will be finalized. In six months, I will leave the country, hell, I will leave North America as a whole! I will find a quiet country, settle with Bertha and have nothing else to do with Wellington Corp. Yes. That is why I won’t let go.

Divorcing My Husband Over a Harassment Message

Henry stopped harassing me after that, and he signed the divorce papers without a fuss. After successfully divorcing him, I left the country with Myles. Mr. CEO and His Secretary

Mr. CEO and His Secretary

I sighed after her little speech, "I really don't care anymore." "Because you love her?" I knew immediately who she was talking about and smiled. "You do love her." I smiled even brighter. "That's not the point though." I stopped myself from smiling. "I'm asking about you and your way forward now." "I'll probably travel to another country for a while and just get myself together. After all, the divorce processes are already over." "Right. That's a good decision." "And, sorry for bothering you with my problems." She stood up.

8 Years In An Estranged Marriage

8 Years In An Estranged Marriage

After completing the resignation paperwork, I left the law firm. I didn't want to see Nate. I didn't want to say goodbye. So I sent the divorce papers by courier. Once he saw them and signed his name, it would all be over. 'Goodbye, Nate. I wish you a lifetime of happiness with the one you love.' I was preparing to take Alyssa abroad. Still, I was afraid she might resent me for the decision, so I asked her gently, "Sweetheart, Mommy and Daddy are separating. I'll be taking you to live overseas. Will you be upset?"

After the Divorce

After the Divorce

“I thought you didn’t care about—” “I thought about it, and it’s better she doesn’t find out about this argument at all.” She gave me a tight smile that made my heart sink. “After all, you’re the perfect stepfather figure for her. I’m sure you don’t want to ruin your image by telling her about our bad times. Our marriage’s still okay, we’re just going through a phase.” “A phase?” “All married couples go through that.” “Diane!” “Don’t fucking yell at me.” She snapped. “Like I said, keep all details of the argument to yourself. I’ll be leaving early for work tomorrow, so we might not see until—”

The Divorce Contract

The Divorce Contract

And this man, this cold, terrifying man was offering a lifeline wrapped in thorns. I folded my arms. “No intimacy?” “Unless mutually agreed upon.” His voice was like ice breaking over concrete. Smooth, but dangerous. “And after a year?” “We file for divorce. Clean. Quiet. No drama.” I laughed under my breath. “Everything about you screams drama.” He didn’t laugh. Not even a twitch of a smile. I hated that even more. “Why twelve months?” I asked. “Because thirteen would be unlucky.” I raised an eyebrow. He stared at me. Unblinking. Serious.

After divorce, He regretted

After divorce, He regretted

A substitute. So Amelia didn’t rush to return. As long as that “substitute” stayed at Aaron’s side, she knew she’d be on his mind. She needed three years abroad to secure her green card, and she couldn’t risk raising suspicion by divorcing Noah the moment she got it. She waited, played the long game. Two years after earning her permanent residency, she filed for divorce. That lined up perfectly—it was just about the same time Aaron hit his three-year mark in marriage.

good reader
The story was good Liked the ending and also Aaron's POV makes him explain himself so it helps to know he was not the worst but not the best hope he too gets good ending if not in this one in some other one.
Lovis.L
The story has ended! Ch105–119 are mostly from Aaron’s point of view, so the storyline is similar to what you’ve read before Chapter 105. Chapter 120 is brand new content and wraps up the story. Thank you again for all your support!it truly means a lot!
