The Returned Luna

The Returned Luna

Adolph took note, “Why?” “Because of how much the Rosa multiflora, mahoe, and the winter daphne resemble the oleander flower,” she said seriously. “It would be like wishing doom upon the wedding to use any of them and they’re staples in most varieties of petal jams! They aren’t used in any jam eaten at a wedding as far as I know.”

Elemental Lycan : The Devine Elemental

Elemental Lycan : The Devine Elemental

It was filled with rows of apothecary jars, each labeled in Leela’s neat handwriting. Thorpe stood back, watching her scan the shelves. "You keep a formidable inventory," he noted softly. "Nature doesn't always bloom when you need it to, Elder," Leela said, her voice echoing slightly in the glass room. "You have to be ready." She reached up and pulled down a jar filled with delicate, dried white flowers that looked like crumpled tissue paper. Even through the glass, they looked fragile. "Moon-Blooming Jasmine," she whispered, tracing the label. "Harvested during the last full moon. It absorbed the light when the connection to the Goddess was strongest."

I began to explain as I pulled him and let him smell the leaves to help him familiarize himself with and identify the plant. Since summer is the peak season for mosquito infestations, I told him how important those plants were to our tribe. I even pointed it out to him: "Look at Grandma Lony's treehouse; there are no mosquitoes going in there because of those plants right there—those are lemongrass—they drive away mosquitoes and other insects due to their strong aroma." After he understood the situation, he hurriedly brought me back to my room and talked to the Elder Healer before they went to the tribal meeting together.

The Alpha King's Hated Slave

The Alpha King's Hated Slave

Lily’s POV On Amelia's leaving in a vexed mood, I smiled and walked closer to the window to take in the beautiful view of Marcus's garden. I did not think someone as cold and unfeeling as Marcus would own a garden, but there it stood, filled with lavenders, corianders, sunflowers, pines, and lots of beautiful flowers. My mother grew the most beautiful garden I had ever set my eyes on. Her garden had herbs, flowers, and spices. She was an excellent florist and usually made alluring scents out of them.

Master Blair's Fiery Pursuit

Master Blair's Fiery Pursuit

"Mommy's back. Was Little Lemon good when Mommy wasn't here?" Blair gently held Lemon's hand and said, "She's been excellent. She just had some applesauce, carrots, and half a cup of juice." Mable nodded and could not help but feel that Blair was a very responsible father. He had cared for Lemon these past two days, and she could not find any faults. "I've had all the roses in the garden removed. You can choose any flowers you like to plant here now. If you have any ideas for the garden's design, let me know," Blair said.

I was reading this story on HeyNovel but it was called Mr. Goodwin, Your Ex-wife is a stunner and have different character names. The story is good but stopped updating at chapter 300. Excited that I found it here and looking forward to continuing the story.

I absolutely LOVE this story! I wish I could give it more than 5 stars! I have been unable to put my phone down since I started reading it. I do have one complaint, though...I wish the author would do some proof reading before posting the chapters onto this app because there are quite a few typos

World of Tomorrow

World of Tomorrow

On the opposite side of the tree-lined drive, his wife’s tiny orchard of glossy-leaved oranges in full bloom left a sweet scent drifting over the drive on the warm, salty breeze off the sea. Not far away, Evelyn's gated garden was growing lush with upright stalks of corn, twined in the loving arms of pole beans with the wide leaves of squash spreading in a carpet at their feet along the ground in one row. In another, her tomatoes were already drooping under the weight of still-green fruit. There was another half-row—peppers, perhaps—with some sort of low greens growing in the second half. Finally, the entire garden was ringed along its fence by mounds of lavender and brightly colored marigol

I've barely been able to put this story down. I absolutely love it. I love how descriptive the story is. And it has made me want to have been able to go to that World's Fair. It is a beautiful love story and I can't wait to finish it.

I am only to Chapter 22, but this book is Amazing so far and by far my favorite. I love historical fiction and this piece is a gem. I read the Author's book about Grace and Juliet and just had to jump right into this one as some characters are the same.

One Night With Ex's Alpha Boss

One Night With Ex's Alpha Boss

After Ryan left yesterday, I spent the entire day drawing and labeling each ingredient we’ll need for the antidote, including the rare flower the healers told me is probably gone forever. While researching the Moonlight Fire Lily, I found that it only blooms in full moonlight as well as only blooming in the wild. The image in Sarina’s plant species book was orange and red with hints of yellow at the tips of the petals, making it bright and hopefully easy to locate.

I was excited reading through blurb that makes the alpha sound different than the cliché snob above his mate but at chapter 35 he is arrogant and appears to know more than the moon goddess deciding she isn't worthy..
Arlenya
Another pathetic damsel in distress story with the arrogant alpha male who claims to protect her, but doesn’t. By chapter 100 the main female charter is almost R*ped like 5times, each time the perpetrators are caught but never punished, nor do the MFC or MMC seek punishment, retribution, or revenge.

The Alpha Prince's Redemption

The Alpha Prince's Redemption

the girls exclaimed and I blushed. He pulled out a note and the most beautiful flowers from a floral trunk. " We want to see what the note says," the girls were over-excited about this. " Okay, lemme open it," I said. " These are French Marigold... Flowers as beautiful as you, represent good prosperity and hope. They bring vitality and happiness into a home and lately, you're my home, I thought of you when I saw them today," I covered my mouth with my hands after I finished reading the note, however, it wasn't signed.

You're a Werewolf

You're a Werewolf

“Fresh rosemary, sage, and lavender. These will help with the purification and protection.” She places them in the mortar and crushes them using the pestle. She takes out a small brown bottle. “This is Lemon Oil imbued with magical energy. This will help cleanse your mind and prepare your life core.” She pours five drops into the mortar and pours the rest into the bathtub. I just stare at what she’s doing in curiosity. I haven’t seen a witch in action before. “You remind me of Leila,” Zinnia says and chuckles. “You both stare so openly when you’re curious about something.”

Magnolia

Magnolia

They were still red and puffy from crying earlier. She curled her hair and helped her put on her lavender dress. She adorned her neck and ears with morganite jewelry to compliment the dress. Clara also chose it because it was a wedding gift from the Marquis and Marquise of Corossa. She had to organize hundreds of gifts and label them as the butler instructed. She was glad she was the one to do it, though. It made her job easier for days like this. Magnolia looked in the mirror, she looked a little different with her curls done this way. She liked it.
