Contract Luna

Contract Luna

Eric spoke to me through the mind link. I didn’t respond, just smiled back at him. Maybe he was right. I felt more myself here than I ever have. I still didn’t know what it was going to take to be a good Luna, but I wasn’t going to give up trying. Maybe it was time I went to speak to the Elders myself, instead of relying on Tate to try to handle the situation.

I will work on a sequel but it will be a bit down the road after I finish some other books. Thank you all for your support with this book. I wasn't expecting so many of you to enjoy it. it was only intended to be a side project, but I will continue the story with Eric for the sequel.

This is the strong female transformation that many authors aim for. The author has done a wonderful job developing the characters, and gives a view of overcoming trauma in a delicate and empowering way. Consistently feminist (hard to do in this niche) and well written with only a few mistakes.

NERD IN HIS BED

NERD IN HIS BED

“It gets oxidized to NAD+, and the electrons move through the complexes, pumping protons and eventually driving ATP synthase.” “Excellent,” Mr. Patel said. “That’s exactly it.” Kathleen turned in her seat just enough that only I—and maybe the two people behind her—could hear. “Fat whore,” she muttered under her breath. I felt a instant pang of sadness at the insult. Mr. Patel’s head snapped toward her. “Excuse me?” Kathleen blinked innocently. “What? I didn’t say anything.” “I heard you,” he said, voice sharp. “And so did half the class. To the Principal’s office. Now.”

The Nerd Who Played the Game

The Nerd Who Played the Game

... The air froze, smug grins turning to stone. Zach's victorious smirk curdled. "What? Who're you talking to?" The assistant, pale and flustered, dove to salvage the strewn papers. "I'm sorry, Mr. Stuart. I didn't know you were dining here. I'll tidy this immediately. Sorry for the disruption." "Mr. Stuart?" Cindy echoed dumbly, her eyes bulging. "Who?" Zach pressed. The assistant, mid-scoop, glanced quizzically between Zach and me. "Mr. Aaron Stuart, Lumina's director and chief designer. That's him, seated right there."

My Nerd Mate

My Nerd Mate

She had made up her mind not to have anything to do with her mate which was very surprising to him. It took Sage about three hours to get to the location of Seer located on the outskirts of the town where the beach was. It was less a mountain surrounded by water. He drove around the mountain looking for the right place and when he finally got it, it was a reservoir built around the sea.

S.I.X

S.I.X

There was a dragon tattooed down his whole back. Looked so lifelike. I was half expecting it to start moving. My eyes trailed further down to his lower back, where the letters S.I.X were inscribed. So wait six isn't actually a number, but an acronym? He turned slightly, enough for me to get a view of his front, but not for him to see me standing there.

LENA

LENA

Lena's POV. “Hello, ma'am,” the doctor waved his left hand, and felt my pulse with his right hand. “How many fingers am I holding up?” “Can I get a name? Can you speak?” He continued, not even giving me a chance to think or respond. He suddenly stopped and pointed a little fluorescent light in my eyes. I squinted and groaned inaudibly from lying stiff for far too long. “Four, My name is Lena, and I think I can… talk,” I replied in a second, gulping as the man behind him moved closer and fixed his gaze on me.

XERRA

XERRA

But I could feel my heart breaking piece by piece… and maybe it was even innumerable pieces. I felt myself go cold suddenly, with my chest feeling so tight like someone held it so, to torture me like this. I could feel the corners of my eyes go hot. I just took a deep breath instead. I had to control this feeling. I must not break down in front of anyone. I am Xerra. I am an elite warrior!

The Nerd Can Fight

The Nerd Can Fight

Adam asked as he gave me my bag. I nodded in response. He is my ride so I can’t really refuse. “See you later, Nerd.” I felt a smile threatening to make an appearance at the nickname, causing me to remember our first conversation. I’m growing fond of this guy and I have no idea whether it’s a good thing or a bad thing.

ALEX

she answered getting up, "Besides, it's spring, you can use them without roasting like a chicken, you have beautiful legs and they look very long even with your short height, a loose top and you will be pure dynamite." She gave me a greenish top and I was about to put it on when she stopped me in horror. “Please tell me what I see is not a sports bra, because I will kill the person who bought it.” "Well, Alex told me...” "Alex is a fucking hypocrite,” she interrupted, "Fortunately for you and unfortunately for him, they brought me a section of lustful and scarcely woven underwear from La Perla." “Oh, Alex took me there on Monday, but he pulled me out when I asked about a strange piece of clo

PATIENT ZERO -The lone survivor

PATIENT ZERO -The lone survivor

Heavy, mechanical footsteps crunched over the wet gravel. Nero, the Rank 7 Crustacean-Strain mutant, walked up to where Ren lay gasping. Her massive, hydraulic-powered pincer claw whirred softly, venting a small cloud of steam into the cold air. She looked at the perfectly dry, V-shaped patch of ground radiating outward from Ren’s body, protecting the entire settlement. She knelt beside him, her segmented, dark eyes unreadable. "I have lived in the dark for twenty years," Nero clicked, her mandibles shifting. "I have seen Warlords drown in the shallows, and I have seen the King's Guard crushed by the pressure. But I have never seen a single man break a wave like that."
