Leo called his top men from the Moonlight Warriors to help us, while leaving the second in command to train the rest of the warriors. We all rode to the river and parked at the small shed where most of the warriors get their clothing after running with their wolf. “Alpha,” a warrior I didn’t know greeted. “Anything new?” Leo asked, and the warrior shook his head. “Still the same Alpha, and the perimeter is safe,” he answered, and Leo nodded. “Are you guys ready?” Leo asked, and everyone else gave their nod. The orange tom gave a nod and flicked his tail, gesturing for those who were available for battle to join them. He watched with interest as smoky black tom with yellow eyes emerged from the crowd. A muscular black tom with powerful back legs followed, along with a gray she-cat with darker gray paws. While they looked as if they had seen better days, Flamestrike also noticed they were more than ready for this fight. "Thorntalon, Lightningstrike, Frozenfoot and Wrenflight are the strongest warriors I can spare," Emberstar explained, "Along with Birchpelt." He nodded to his deputy, who padded forward and touched Birdpaw's muzzle with her own.

The warriors looked around in confusion. Gasps flew out of everyone's lips as they saw the animals step into their fighting zone. Everything was there. The predators and the preys. From bears to leopards. And they all looked pissed off. The hunters started to step back in fear as the predators stepped towards them with a growl. It was their first time being surrounded by this many predators.
