TILDA “I keep telling you,I keep telling you but you never listen.” My mother said, as she shoved cereals into her mouth. It was almost 7am in the morning and me, my brother, Mason, my mum and Dad, were having breakfast at the table. We were all having cereals, or better put, we all had a bowl of cereal in front of us but only my Mum managed to eat though her mouth kept running. “The Moon Night is always dangerous, you have to have someone with you, there are many girls your age you should move with.”

I just feel like I’m finally breathing. My mother gets her head and shoulders through the gap. She’s halfway to the woods. She’s halfway to being free. “Come on, Mom,” I whisper, reaching down to help her pull the rest of her body through. “Just a little more. We’re almost...”

I said to Mum “Don't worry dear, Our Moon is strong, they can't take him down just with a simple push”

My mother sat there for a moment in silence before she says to me, “I can see that something is deeply troubling your mind. May I help in easing it?” I honestly didn’t know what my mother could possibly do to ease what was on my mind, but maybe just speaking out loud the troubles that plagued my thoughts, might be enough to calm the fire burning inside of me. Turning to look at my mother, I say to her, “I don’t want to lose my little dove.” My mother turned to me, giving me a confused look, before she asks me, “And why would you lose her?” As if she didn’t understand what was going to happen, once we took down the Master and got my father back.

They tilted their heads to the same side with questioning eyes. “So... you see...” Elle had a very hard time trying to pick her words to explain things. “I don’t know how to explain... but my Mom needs help.” Elle was just a four-year-old. She explained things in a big circle that Damian and Niamh struggled to follow, but they still tried. “So, my Mom is trapped! And then the gods... soooooo many of them are trying to fight her! And she is winning! Or... or... I don’t know... maybe she is losing? Oh no... what to do...?”

Harper’s POV “Harper, do you see her?” My mother whispers, pointing into the distance. I look out and squint to see what Mom is talking about. “Oh,” I gasp, spotting the fox in the underbrush. It’s wiggling, trying to get out of a trap that caught it’s leg. “We’re going to help her out of the trap and make sure she’s properly healed,” my mom says while motioning for me to follow. We slowly crawl closer to the frightened animal, and I watch my mother as she sends calming magic out toward the fox.

“When the Goblins attacked Ghaeros, I had no idea what was going on. I was in the middle of another lesson with my grandmother when my mother came running into the house. She was more distraught than I had ever seen her. She told us that Goblins were rampaging through the village, and that we had to get away. “I didn’t know what to think. I’d never seen her that way and it frightened me. I remember that Grandmama stood up, looking more stern than afraid. She nodded at my mother and took my hand. ‘We must go, little one,’ she said. I told her I needed my sandals, which were by the door. She insisted there was no time. She picked me up! Just like that. I had never known she had the strength fo
