"I can't lock onto it! It's too fast!" The Leviathan was a ghost in the water. Its mile-long, eel-like body whipped around them, generating localized vortexes that tossed the ten-ton machines around like ragdolls. It didn't need to bite them; the sheer water pressure from its movements was slowly crushing their nanolaminate armor. "Elias, Kael! Flank maneuver!" Harper commanded, her white Vanguard mech glowing like a beacon in the abyss. "Don't aim for the head. Aim for the bioluminescent gills on its neck! We have to force it to the surface!"
