The Monster's Protégé

The Monster's Protégé

“Which checks out—since you’re just a pretty little cunt with daddy issues.” Crack. The back of my hand slammed across his mouth so hard his head jerked sideways. I stepped into him, eyes locked on his, and my voice low and shaking. “Wrong,” I whispered. “I’m your worst fucking nightmare.” His lip split, but he only laughed like a maniac. I’d met his kind before—men who fed on fear, one who didn’t break with pain. But even monsters had a threshold. And I knew exactly where to find his.

Torn Between Monsters

Torn Between Monsters

I muttered, scared that if the monsters spread how I had come to Raven's room, it'd get to the hearing of both Lucian and Thorne. "Is that what you want?" he asked softly, cupping my face in his cold, steady hands. My eyes reached for his, and I nodded my head. "Alright. I will be right back. Once I talk to them, they won't say a word." With that, he went out of his room. With just one word from him, every monster on the fifth floor came out from their various rooms. Somewhere were vampires, ghouls, and somewhere dragons. I stood by the door, listening to the conversation he was having with them.

Hypno Halloween

Hypno Halloween

For an insane moment, Jake actually saw the librarian's arm suddenly jerk out towards him before he let out a ghastly hollow sound from his mouthless face with the teeth loosely hanging in his bloodied jaws. Jake hit his back against the wall and quickly dashed out of the room. Did the monsters do that? Of course they did! They fucking killed the librarian! What about the other kids he'd seen earlier in the library? Were they killed too. Then he remembered the monster he had fought with earlier. How it had been disguised as a student. Maybe the other kids were also monsters, waiting for a chance to take me down and get the book. Well, the library was empty apart from the ashes of a slime-cov

The Last Moonbane

The Last Moonbane

It twitched, clawed at the shaft, then dissolved into smoke. With a single swipe, I sent a cluster of corpse-like fiends flying, their bodies breaking apart in midair. But for every one we struck down, two more crept closer. The library groaned around us, shelves tipping, books scattering like frightened birds. The monsters were not mindless. They herded us, driving us deeper into the labyrinth of stacks, cutting us off from the doors. “They’re trying to trap us inside!” I gasped. “Not if I break us a path!” Thalia’s shout was fire itself. She swung her blade in a wide arc, sparks flying as steel bit into claw and bone. The creature shrieked and fell, but another replaced it at once, then an

she says, her hands out. “It’s okay,” I murmur, laughing a little. “Just – a lot of work on a little sleep.” “I understand,” she says, kind, and then offers to make a copy of any pages that I found significant. I thank her, indicating the page with the image and the description of the Monastic Cult, and she swiftly carries the book away to a scanner so that she can print copies. I lean against the table, anxiously watching the door for Roger’s return. He comes back a few minutes later and moves swiftly to my side, sliding his phone into his back pocket. As he reaches me, the librarian comes over with about twenty warm copies of the page.

I love this book! I hate that chapters are barely two pages and at this rate I’m probably not going to see the end. For the cost at this rate I could have bought quite a number in physical form. As I have so far spent just under of $100 this is most likely my last Good Novel purchase.

My lover is a werewolf hunter

My lover is a werewolf hunter

The monster looked confused at the change of events. It then jumped at her and appeared on the cabin Verandah, intending to fight her down. Just then, Miriam jumped down from where she stood back down the steps. Immediately, she threw black powder that magically spread throughout the cabin, locking the monster in. "Stay there," Miriam said, running back to where she came from.

I'M BETTER OFF BEING A VILLAINESS THAN A HEROINE

I'M BETTER OFF BEING A VILLAINESS THAN A HEROINE

He asked worriedly. "Don't worry, I didn't get hurt. I was just startled. But it pisses me off when she was still smiling after she did it. So I tried to teach her a lesson but this thing came to me and tried to hold my shoulders and apprehend me. Are you mad at me or disappointed in me?" She asked anxiously. He sighed a relief when he saw nothing on her arm. But he stared daggers at Lady Baignard. He wanted to say something to her but a group of big monsters entered the place. They have a big human-like body with a bear-face and it was holding a big club with spikes and a wide shield. They were the same level as the werewolves but they were hard to deal with because of their weapon

My Monster

My Monster

Really pretty. "Danika," I reply, shaking her hand. Her skin is very cool. The thought creeps in before I can stop it. What if she's not human either? The classroom suddenly feels too small, too loud, and too bright. My pulse quickens. Ever since Kaziel came into my life, the lines between reality and impossible have blurred so much that I can't tell what's real anymore. It's like the supernatural cracked something open in my brain, and now, even when I'm surrounded by humans, I can't stop seeing monsters.

Okay so I won't lie, I was tempted to stop reading at one point. I felt it was going slower than I like, and I didn't understand why this super strong tribrid was the way he was. BOY WAS I IN FOR IT. I'm glad I didn't stop reading. That twist was.. WOW. Was NOT expecting it. I enjoyed this story!
Katrina Hofstadter
I loved this book and am looking forward to reading more from this author and the next book of this saga. The author doesn't leave an question unanswered or unnecessarily drag the story out. The ability to keep the continuity of the story from beginning to end, was spot on. A great read!

Sold To The Monster Alpha

Sold To The Monster Alpha

I demanded, sitting up in bed, my instincts instantly on high alert. “The Monster Alpha,” Vanessa hissed, spinning around to face me, her eyes wide. “During the full moon, Alpha King completely loses his mind. His wolf takes total control, and he becomes an unhinged beast. He doesn’t care who you are. Friend, foe, ally—if you are in his path, you die. But under a Red Moon? The madness is a bloodbath. He will rip apart anything that breathes.” Right on cue, a deafening, thunderous roar tore through the castle walls. It was a primal, savage sound that didn’t belong to anything human, so loud it made the stone floor vibrate beneath my bare feet.
