Liam's voice comes to my ears as I hear him make his way onto my balcony. "Thank you." I say taking a swig from my glass of sparkling apple cider. The night view over New York's wealthiest parts has never been a sore eye to glance at.

"Alright, let's do it." The vendor held out his scanning gun and scanned the ring and then Jack's cuff. "Have a very nice day!" He said as they left. "Anything else we need?" Jack asked. "How about a book?" Lexi said. Jack laughed. "Alright, let's see if we can find a bookstore. I'm warning you, they might not have any in paper." Lexi frowned. "Can we at least look?" Jack nodded.

"Well, it's... It's hard to explain, the book explains it all." "Is it interesting?" She asked looking at the book cover, it was of a young teenager holding a lamp in what looked to be a dark cave, a bat was hanging of his hands and an old witch was behind him. "It looks interesting," She muttered. "It is," He assured. She nodded her head with a small smile and placed her iPods in back, resting her head back against the car seats, she closed her eyes.

I nervously change the subject. "Oh, we can't because Hudson has the DVD player but I can try with my laptop." She stands up and gets her laptop from her closet. As she tries to connect her laptop with the internet it doesn't work. Meredith tries to put on a DVD in it but it doesn't play. Well, no movie night for me then. "I'm sorry. It doesn't work." She apologizes. I remember putting my After books in my bags before I left home so I think I'm going to ease my mind with this.

His eyes grew wide in alarm, “Your meds.” I pressed my eyes closed, “I packed that already.” I sighed, pointing to my luggage. “Are you ready to go?” ------------------------------------- We were just sat down, a glass of champagne handed to Triston and a glass of orange juice to me. He was seated in front of me, already scrolling on his phone. Lord knows hes probably checking his work email, or stocks… That’s all this man was right? Just a business man with a soul that was probably just cigarettes and nightly stock reports.

Lena's POV. “Hello, ma'am,” the doctor waved his left hand, and felt my pulse with his right hand. “How many fingers am I holding up?” “Can I get a name? Can you speak?” He continued, not even giving me a chance to think or respond. He suddenly stopped and pointed a little fluorescent light in my eyes. I squinted and groaned inaudibly from lying stiff for far too long. “Four, My name is Lena, and I think I can… talk,” I replied in a second, gulping as the man behind him moved closer and fixed his gaze on me.

“Excuse me, sir? Will you be checking any of these books out?” He tilted his head at her in confusion. He had reserved no books. The robrarian expected his question and spoke once more. “Your friend with the tail thought you would need these.” She showed him the different titles. The Lust Chronicles, I Am What I Am Accept It, My Lycanthrope Lover, How Not To Be An Asshole, and more. He nodded his head in understanding. She was a cheeky person when she wanted to be. He liked that.
