Lifeless Lucy Novels & Stories

“I’m leaving.” “What about your clothes?” I asked. Lucy glared at Livia, “I’ll figure something out.” She said, and brushed past Livia. Then the front door slammed shut. “Wow.” Livia said. “I didn’t mean to upset her-” “Yes you did. I'm not in the mood for your games, Liv. What are you doing here?” “I told you why I was here,” she said. “To give my condolences.” “Stop acting like you give a damn about Lucy or her family.”

Avery coughed tacitly and nudged him with his elbow. Finn wanted to ask whether Tobias had located Lucy but remembered that she was presumed dead in Clusia. Back then, Lucy created many Zenith Elixirs and saved many families. She had become the idol of the town. Lucy’s death had brought tremendous pain to everyone. Everyone presented flowers at the location where Lucy lost her life. Tobias had also entered a new routine in life. If they brought up her name, it would indeed bother him.

I shook my head rigorously. She knew what I would have said if I could speak. "Lucia, you don't have a wolf form, how can you have a mate? Huh? Oh you do have a mate but he is dead. I guess that is why your wolf gave up and never woke up." I was still confused. I could not understand a single thing just said. I know my wolf has been dormant but my mate is dead. She is lying. My mate is Bryan and he is standing right there. How can he be dead?

FLASHBACK 8 The female creature in the garden played around the green fields with no care in the world and with no idea that over a million spirits were watching her, especially their head. The most fascinated spirit and the most annoyed. Lucifer watched her jump around with a floating creature on the air. It’s appearance was very strange, it basically had no head just a pair of small colorful wings. The ability of the creature to survive without a head was beyond Lucifer’s mind. As the female jumped around, the two large lumps on her chest danced with her and Lucifer struggled greatly not to look at them.

Lucy begged, holding on to Evelyn who struggled to breathe until she was finally sedated and placed on a ventilator. Lucy felt like she was going insane staring at Mrs Evelyn who was now placed under life support. The doctor spoke to her. "Her heart is weak. She barely escaped a cardiac arrest. We needed to put her body to rest." Lucy nodded, wiping tears from her eyes, just then, her phone rang and it was her assistant. She didn't pick up, devastated at the situation. The image of June lying on the bed stiff marred in her head. She couldn't believe it. She couldn't believe her friend was gone. Lucy silenced her phone and stepped out of Evelyn's ward, closing the door behind her.

"We have a Silas Devant at 10." I nodded against her throat. "What's his complaint?" "Get this, Gremlins." I barked a laugh. "Gremlins? That's different." "That's the claim," Lucy replied. "Now, let's help him." Our lives were completely different now. Playing dead. Leaving everything behind to work in London. As far as everyone knew, we died in the cave-in.

Lucy opened her own laptop, her hands shaking so much she could barely type. They worked in that suffocating quiet for over an hour. The only sounds were the clicking of keys on their laptops. Every time their hands came close to each other while reaching for a shared textbook, Jonathan would pull back instantly. Lucy realized then that she couldn't go back. She looked at the man across from her and knew that the quiet, obedient girl who followed Adrian’s orders had died in the storm. Even if Jonathan never kissed her again, the memory of it had changed the way she saw herself. She didn't want to be a trophy. She didn't want to be a solution to a debt.

My heart skipped a painful beat, and I paused, my throat suddenly going dry. Lucy noticed my hesitation and stepped even closer, her hot breath fanning across my face as she lowered her head. "I said exactly what I said," she repeated, her eyes gleaming with a strange, unstable light. "You are going to be dead very soon. So, I am just standing here calmly letting you run your pathetic little mouth right now because I know, with absolute certainty, that your time is running out. Even if Michael doesn't end up choosing me in the end, at least I will still be standing here alive while you are rotting in the ground."

“I like both, but let's do the position that you are most comfortable with.” “I love you, Cherry.” He kissed my cheeks. On our way back to Dylan's office, his phone rang. It was Bill. “Hugo's dead. Lucy did it.” ********** Lucy // Flashback // “Lucy, wait.” Crippling back to the cabin where his mother used to live, Ravi grabbed my arm, only to earn a death glare from me. “You're still bleeding. We must go to see a doctor.” He sounded genuine, yet stupid.
