Melati harus pasrah akan keputusan kedua orang tuanya untuk menjadikan dirinya istri salah satu orang terkaya di kota. Kedua orangtuanya, memiliki hutang yang cukup besar. Dengan berat hati dia menerima semuanya, toh selama ini dirinya hanya di anggap pembantu di rumah tersebut. Sejak pernikahan kedua Ayahnya, dia tidak pernah memiliki kehidupan yang layak. Namun, siapa sangka dia malah menjadi istri kedua. Pernikahan kedua yang telah di siapkan oleh istri pertama calon suaminya. Anjasmoro, pria yang memiliki umur 20 tahun lebih tua darinya. Dia akan menjadi istri keduanya. Akan tetapi takdir begitu rumit saat Melati tinggal lebih lama di rumah Anjasmoro. Status Melati masih di sembunyikan dan inilah awal kehancuran keluarga Anjasmoro.
