Novel & Cerita Light For Book Reading In Bed

The library was dimly lit, the soft glow of desk lamps casting warm pools of light across the rows of bookshelves. The air was thick with the scent of old paper and ink, a comforting aroma that wrapped around Charlie, Liam, Maya, and Ethan as they settled into their usual study nook as they prepared for their upcoming mid term exams. The four friends had claimed a large wooden table in the corner, surrounded by towering shelves filled with ancient tomes and modern textbooks alike.

He got up from the bed, and when another flash illuminated them both, she gasped when he stood right in front of her. “I have rechargeable lights downstairs. Would you feel better if you had one?” She was probably nodding her head. “I can’t see you in the dark.” “Sorry. Yes. A light will work,” she said. “Okay. You can wait here while I get it.” He stepped past her and headed downstairs. In the foyer closet, he got three lights from the shelf, and headed back upstairs. He put one on and left it in her bathroom. He placed the other one on the bedside table, and switched it on. It cast a dim light over the bed but she’d be able to see.

Books makes everything better. With a sigh, I sat back, letting myself sink onto the large, plush sofa in my bedroom, a novel in my hand. The doors to my own terrace were open across the room, and with almost all the lights off, the room was bathed in a soft white glow from the moon. A summer breeze blew in, tickling over my bare legs and arms still pink from my bath and teasing up my nightgown. I bit my lip and shivered. What had I done earlier?

The sweet morning song mingled with the first rays of sunlight filtering through the light curtains of Léa's apartment. A stream of light caressed the white sheets, warming the still cool air of dawn. Léa slowly emerged from her sleep, her eyelids still heavy with vague and fleeting dreams. The bedroom, decorated in a minimalist style, reflected her taste for simplicity: white walls, a shelf filled with carefully organized architecture books, and a green plant, the only touch of life, that seemed strangely to thrive despite the little light.

The dim light shining through the curtains added a touch of quietness to the surroundings. She pulled off her shoes and tiptoed through the living room, mindful not to disturb anyone's slumber. The house felt still, as if holding its breath, and Sparkle moved with calculated steps, aware of the need for quietness. In the living room, she noticed a soft glow from a table lamp, casting a gentle light over the space. A book lay open on the armrest of the couch, evidence of her father's passion for late-night reading.

A vast repository of knowledge that my mother had somehow acquired and hidden away. The lighting was the most remarkable thing. There were no lamps, no visible light sources, yet the entire room was bathed in a soft, warm glow that seemed to emanate from the walls themselves. It was gentle, soothing, the kind of light that made you want to curl up with a book and read for hours. The kind of light that calmed the soul and cleared the mind. It was perfect.

9:35pm. My mouth falls open in a wide yawn, my eyelids already feeling heavy and tired from all that food and from the relaxing shower I just had. I turn off the lights, leaving the dim bedside lamp on. To be honest, I can't sleep in a room that is totally dark. I love sleeping with very dim lights. I lie on the bed, pulling the covers over my body. For a moment, I think about what Kayden is doing right now. Is he sleeping? Is he working on his laptop?

◇ MYKAELA ◇ The night was still. The soft glow of the yellow bedside lamp cast a warm, inviting atmosphere all over Lorenzio's bedroom. I preferred to study in his guest room where I could spend hours and hours reading in total peace and quiet. But tonight, I would stay in here until he fell asleep.

The living room was bathed in a soft, warm light. Sebastian sat on the couch, reading a book, clad in purple striped pajamas. The lamp beside him emitted a gentle, warm glow that accentuated the contours of his face, making him even more striking. Hearing the rustling of my movements, he put down the book and turned to look at me. "You're awake," he said gently.

Books stood beside one section in a heap. Where did all those books come from? The lights lining the edges of the shelves were off. Doris left her side to flip a switch, and all of them came on. The gold hue of the lights reflected on the maroon rug. In the centre of the room were beige couches tucked so close to form a circle.
