When Lightening Strikes

When Lightening Strikes

“Yeah, but you know how my dad seems sweet. I would much rather have the ugly be upfront versus hidden behind a paper-thin smile.” “I get what you mean. It’s better to dance with the devil than to dance with an angel with devil horns.” “You say the weirdest things.” “Ha, ha yeah I do but its true. Its basically saying everything that glitters isn’t gold.” “Who wants gold anyway? Glitter is much better. You get it everywhere and it stays.” “Girl, you’re crazy. But look.” She pulled up a picture on her phone and showed her best friend. “This is Jason. He’s fifteen and he goes to the high school.”

Soul Eaters

Soul Eaters

I laid the ruby on the ground and brought the solid rock down on it as hard as I could. The ruby shattered instantly and the shockwave from the power being released hurled me back to the ground again. A bolt of light shot to the sky and little lights sped out of it so fast that it looked like one light if you weren't as close to it as I was.

Savage Passion

Savage Passion

When I had had my fill, my fingers edged towards the glamoured guard and I let go of the energy completely. Sharp green light filled the cramped space of my bedroom, it lit the room and pushed against the wall threatening to shatter everything in its path as it made its way to its victim like a fork of lightning. It went straight through the glamoured guard and caused him to gleam like an angler fish and shortly after, Lydia Nightshade dropped to the floor like a puppet whose strings were scraped off.

LIGHT AFTER DARK

LIGHT AFTER DARK

He threw his darkly handsome head back and laughed uproariously. “Are you telling me that you didn’t think of me in the dark of the night? That you didn’t crave the passion I alone could give you? If you’d responded to him the way you responded to me, he’d have run away from you in terror!” Lara launched herself at him like a lioness. Two incredibly powerful hands snapped around her wrists and held her back. An insolent smile curved his hard mouth. “You dress like a fifty-year-old maiden but you’re a little animal at heart, aren’t you, chérie? I scratch the surface of that lady-like exterior and I find teeth and claws. I like that. It excites me…”

Don't Take Me Lightly

Don't Take Me Lightly

The dim light helped dissipate the utter darkness. She took a moment as she settled down and closed her eyes. She enjoyed the silence as she took deep breaths. She stood up and headed towards the kitchen and grabbed a glass of juice. As she drank the juice she arranged all her stuff and tidied her place. Then she headed to take a bath. She changed into her all black combat pants and fitted full sleeve tee paired with the black hoodie and her thick leather jacket. She grabbed a pepper spray, a black procedure mask and wore a plain black mask with a ripped of bottom part; just leaving her eyes covered.

With the two gears now linked, I place them on a piece of machinery. "Hopefully this works," I say, placing the machinery on my table. Looking to my left, I grab my lighting maker. I think QuickShot told me it's called a generator, but I prefer to think of it as a lighting maker. After all, back home, the only thing that can make power like this is a bolt of lighting.

The Lycan King’s Claim

He wiped his hands first on his pockets until it was dry and then he picked up the dynamite. He looked at the lake briefly. Surely, the two men were still underwater. With shaking but fast hands, he lit up the lighter and used it to ignite the dynamite. It did easily and upon standing at the side of the lake to see the location of the two men underwater, Anthony fully relied on the light.

The Ultimate Husband

The Ultimate Husband

Had he done something else? At the thought, Neo could not help but ask, "Sir… Did you use something else to lift the rock?" Ho ho! Seeing the look of sincerity on Neo's face, Darryl did not have the heart to hide the truth as he nodded with a smile. "Of course I did." As he spoke, he strode forwards and opened his palm so Neo could see the powder still on there. Neo stopped short at the sight. "This is…" Before he could finish, Darryl explained to him in a low voice, "This is called Stone Lightening Powder. I went into the room just now to make it, and it turns any rock you sprinkle it on weightless…"
