Sleek black sofas, their edges kissed with crimson pillows.
Neon-red lights ran like veins along the ceiling and walls, casting the entire space in a dangerous glow, dark, magnetic, sinful. A glass bar gleamed in the corner, stocked with amber bottles that glowed like fire under the red haze.
The air itself felt charged, heavy with luxury and whispered temptation.
I turned back to Sterling. “Your home is beautiful,” I said, still trying to drink in the impossible scale of it all.
“It’s more of a house,” he corrected smoothly, his eyes glinting under the red glow. Then softer, “But now that you’re in it, I could call it a home.”
