Lights Camera Disaster Novels & Stories

"And the board has decided that the architects are no longer required." The lighthouse exploded, not from a bomb, but from a massive surge of raw, unencrypted energy that sent a wall of fire racing across the surface of the water toward the gunboat. Elias looked at the fire, then at Silas, and for the first time, a flicker of something human, something like regret, passed through his eyes. He shoved Silas and Verina toward the small emergency submersible at the back of the boat just as the fire reached the hull.

Outside, distant thunder rolled across the sky as rain began to fall against the windows. Damon stood slowly. “So someone cut the power.” “Yes.” “And the cameras.” “Yes.” Damon exhaled. “That means” “They’re already inside the building.” The words hung in the darkness like a warning. Luca moved quickly toward a drawer and pulled out a small tactical flashlight. The narrow beam sliced through the dark apartment. “Stay behind me,” he said. Damon crossed his arms. “You know I hate that phrase.” “I don’t care.” Luca handed him a second flashlight.

Astra’s pov: “Ugh…this pain. It just won’t leave me alone!” I pounded my palm on my head and closed my eyes. A thought had been gnawing on my mind for the last couple of weeks. I reached out for the glass of water on the table beside me. My hands shook and the glass dropped with a huge crash. Pieces of sharp glass remained shattered on the wet floor. I stepped into the pool of water. An especially large piece of glass was right in front of me, its sharp edge pointing right at my toe. I continued to stare at it as if I expected it to move away from me on its own.

The light column hit his chest with a bang. All of a sudden, the pink light exploded like a ball of fireworks. It was so dazzling that no one could look straight at it. The dazzling light transformed into various forms. Each form exuded a majestic, grand, oppressive, and evil-slaying aura. The entire ice cave was shaking violently. Ice cubes fell from the dome. "Let's see if you'll die this time!" Seeing that he had hit Caspian, Happy Smith was so excited that his eyes widened and glittered. He laughed wildly. "Again! Crape Myrtle Exquisite Bomb!"

Paul nervously chuckled, releasing my hands. "Let me capture your photos now." Paul suggested, making his way across the room. "You seem to have captured everyone's liking, wife." Justin approached me and I stared at him. Then, Mr. Paul spoke up, "Camera lights are ready for action, sir." Justin gestured for me to proceed, but I shook my head;I wasn't quite ready yet. He furrowed his brows, I quietly looked away. "Don't tell me you're camera-shy." I heard Justin scoff.

The crowd saw the light, which resembled a flame dragon, and how it was speeding toward the Tamworth residence several miles away. Almost everyone gasped. "I-Is that Sebastian's real level of power?" Ryker had turned pale with fright. His breathing had actually become shallow. Just as everyone cried out in shock, there was a blinding light in the distance. It came from the Tamworth residence. A green screen of light enveloped the whole Tamworth residence like a giant shroud. There was a blast as a scarlet light shattered the green screen of light at once. The pieces fluttered down like glass shards.

Humans were never able to discover how we communicated in the old wars, so I had no fear of them being able to intercept the message. “Okay I feel like this is a good enough spot.” I looked at Lucas, not helping the smile that appeared on my face as I looked at his handsome face. “Can you please materialize the camera for Libby to hijack and some lights?” I asked him. He smiled back and held his hands out having the camera materialize in them. He handed it to Libby and then placed his hands on the ground materializing lights on their stands. “Tristan power please.” I asked. He reached over Lucas’ shoulder placing his index finger on the lights and powering them on. “Thank you. Everyone ready

At the end of the street, where the road curved around the side of a MOT garage, the light on the lamppost was flickering. It blinked. On and off. On and off. The light flared for a second, so bright that I had to squint and turn my head a little to shield from the glare, and then with a loud pop, the bulb blew. A shower of sparks and glass arched up into the air and stopped. Just stopped. I could see the shards of glass suspended there, moonlight refracting through them, sharp lines of light cutting through the air, surrounded by a Catherine Wheel of sparks. Seconds passed and nothing moved, but a rumble of thunder rolled overhead, the sound increasing in volume.

"You always loved impossible causes." "You inherited that from me." He looked directly into the lens. "If Rory trusts you..." "Don't make her carry this alone." My eyes filled unexpectedly. Richard wasn't talking like a businessman. He sounded like a father. One who knew he wouldn't be there. The video wasn't finished. But suddenly— The apartment lights flickered. Once. Twice. Then everything went dark. The television. The kitchen lights. The hallway. Only the gray afternoon sunlight remained. A second later, the emergency backup lights activated.

The harder she tried to speak, the harder it became to breathe. At the same moment, a blue light erupted from the necklace around Kalina’s neck. They were thrown back from her body. Their bodies slammed into the walls and floor. They tried to look toward Kalina, but the light blocked their view. “What’s happening?” Lamont covered his eyes with his arm. The light was blinding, strong enough to make someone go temporarily blind. “I don’t know!” Anantari did the same. The light vanished without a trace. Their vision blurred for a moment. When it cleared, they were stunned.
