She said as she pulled something out of her big purse. “ORS is good for dehydration given the fact that I puked my guts out,” he said as she shook her head. “Coconut water is way better and natural, I teach yoga here and we talk about natural things here, ORS is good, great actually for the allopathic medical purposes given to the comments that balance body chemicals pretty quickly but Coconut water is what I recommend,” She explained her point of view as Kabir looked at her for a moment. He slowly took the coconut from her hands as she managed to give him a small smile, “Straw please,” He asked as he shook the coconut like a kid.

Lex gave credit where due, even given the disturbing fact that a female had saved him, which went against everything he'd been taught as a warrior. "Deadly liquid?" Maya giggled, an enchanting sound that made him pulse even larger. "That was a swimming pool. It's only deadly if you don't know how to swim." When Lex frowned, still not comprehending, she explained. "A pool is filled with water and chemicals to keep it clear, and people swim in it. Umm, move their arms and legs to keep their bodies afloat. It's a form of recreation on Earth and a way to cool off on a hot day." Appalled, Lex sputtered, "You use water for recreation? Is your race completely crazy?"

STEAM curled lazily against the tiled walls, softening the edges of the small bathroom as the shower ran in a steady, rhythmic cascade. The sound of water filled the space, constant, soothing, almost like a quiet storm contained within four walls. Droplets gathered and slid down the mirror, blurring reflections into indistinct shapes.

Leaning down slightly, he whispered, “The King has said I can’t let you touch alcoholic drinks.” I couldn’t help but giggle, shaking my head at his loyalty to Ace’s orders. “I want lemonade, please,” I said, turning to the bartender with a polite smile. He returned the smile warmly. "Would you like it with still or sparkling water?” “Sparkling water? Like… if I drink it, will my body start to glow or burn?” I asked, genuinely surprised by the term. He chuckled softly, “No, mam. Sparkling water is just regular water, but with bubbles in it. It’s fizzy, like soda, but without the sugar or flavors.”

Alex’s arms are warm. Warm, steady, grounded. Like a heartbeat that refused to waver, even as mine tripped over itself with every step he took. I clung to him, not that I had a choice. My tail was long and heavy, still slick from the stream, dragging behind us and leaving a wet trail through the underbrush. I hated how useless I felt outside of water, and the elegant look in water was gone. In water, it looked like birds' wings floating around me like a halo; now it just lay flat and damp, almost lifeless.

"How bad is it really? I've never seen anything like that." Hawk flexed his shoulder slightly. "Getting better." Lily frowned. "Fast. So fast." Quill muttered under his breath. "Too fast." She didn't push. "I figured you hadn't eaten," she said, tossing him the coffee and a sandwich. Hawk caught it without blinking. "I'm wired enough, trust me." Lily gave him a look. "Doesn't count. Adrenaline and Body fluids aren't lunch." She dropped her bag by the couch table and crossed her arms. "So. Alpha now. Remember, the human in the room needs more explanations."

The liquid inside seemed like water, but on a second thought, it wasn't quite water, nor was it oil. "This is water, though," Kira said to herself, trying to convince herself she was right and not confused. "It's water, just… I don't know," she sucked in a breath and bit her lips, thinking. "The color was deep blue just now, but now it's changed to silver, and look, it's now light blue." "Hmm… Can anything more weird happen today?" She asked herself, and without thinking, she popped the cork. The moment Kira did that, the liquid leaped out like a living thing.

Of course it was, all the medication made it dry. I ripped the covers off, moving from the door and down the stairs. I could hear every step I took as it echoed through this mansion. I made my way to the kitchen, opening the fridge and taking out a large water bottle. I chugged it down, my throat feeling relieved as it ran down the sides of my mouth- I heard a pair of steps stop next to me. My head turned to the doorway, my eyes large as I ripped the water away from my lips. He was standing there. His tie was undone, eyes clear as day on me. I felt my stomach drop as his cold gaze ran shivers down my spine.

The water's freezing cold, but that's exactly what I need to cool my head and my body. Shit.
