I walked over to my desk, pulled out a document from the drawer, and handed it to her. “Here’s a list of things involved,” I explained, my words spilling out a little faster than I would like. “There are things you might like, things you might hate. It’s ranked zero to five. If you think you would enjoy something, tick five. If you’re curious but not sure, tick three. If you don’t have an answer yet, tick zero, or leave it blank for now and decide later. Anything that turns you off completely—tick one or two.”

I was surprised by how easy it was, but then again, I merely ticked boxes. Tried } Disliked. Liked. Hard limit. Soft limit. Kink. Fetish. Not tried } Hard limit. Soft limit. Confident about. Each item and list are the same. Most come under not tried. There are so many under hard limit, some under soft limit, and more under confident about.

“Start simple.” She thought, chewing her lip. “Likes?” “Yes.” “Rain… soft music, books, long walks. Flowers — roses mostly. And strong coffee.” I smiled slightly. “Dislikes?” “Noise. Lies. Being told what to do.” I chuckled slightly. “I should’ve guessed that one.” She tilted her head. “Your turn.” “My likes?” She nodded. “Sports — running, training, hunting, sparring, tracking, anything to move my blood. Music sometimes.”

Noah's POV I was going back to the room, when a notification hit my phone. I saw it. "These are the things that she likes: 1. Amusement Park 2. Icecream 3. Songs 4. Coffee 5. Every food present in the 'Lovely food' restaurant. 6. Movie 7. Black and red colours Things that she doesn't like and probably hate: 1. Tea 2. The school canteen food 3. She is afraid of heights, so ferris wheel

Chris asked, tilting his head. I shook my head slowly. "No, I don’t hate them. I just… I just don’t like their guts." "And what’s the difference? You still hate them, right?" Aby pressed. "There’s a huge difference between hate and dislike, okay? I dislike them. That doesn’t mean I hate them. And seriously, I still wonder why everyone adores them. They cause trouble every single day!" I exclaimed. Chris shrugged. "Well, that’s their nature. They love causing trouble. Their day isn’t complete without it."

Her matter-of-fact nature leaves no room for argument. "On the back, I've listed everyone's names and phone number and special interests," I'm not sure why I need to know that Trevor likes bowling or that a woman named Sherry likes collecting toy penguins, but all of that information is here along with a list of favorite things and personal triggers. For example, when Veronica is drawing, never walk by her desk with hot chocolate--the smell makes her gag and she'll forget what she is working on.
